This simple and short guide will teach you how exactly you can managing manualy the FOV and Cam Position for all cars in DiRT 3 CE. It’s easy to use and the little app will manually creat a backup of the original FOV and Cam Positions form all Cars so you will be available to restore it by one click of you mess up something..

Is there any Risk by using this App ?

A fev peoples asked is there a risk by using this App to change FOV and Car position , and would the get banned. So to be sure and give a 100% clean ansver to that i asked and got the ansver.

Feel free to use it , but if you mess up something and the game does not work correctly after that , you have to known this is not Codemasers fail on the game , but just to notice , if you mess up something there is ever there simple option to restore to original files with the app , or by doing a clean verifiy of your steam game trought steam.

FOV & Cam Changer

This little App contains only a fev files but gives you the options to change the FOV ingame and to managing the whole car position X Y Z !

When you start the App ( with the Dirt3FovChange.exe ) first you have to do is to give the app the right direction for DiRT 3 CE.
For example: C:Steam GamessteamappscommonDiRT 3 Complete Edition

When you have done that you are ready to change the FOV , and at teh top in the app the Vertical FOV is starting as #40 ( You can increase the number now here to that FOV what you would like to have ). Notice: There is a list for wich Camera you actally changing that FOV , in the example i changing the FOV for the Cockpit Cam ( Head-Cam ).

FOV = 65
X = 0.000 ( Higher number moving the Head position Left , lower Right )
Y = 0.010 ( Higher number puting your Head position UP )
Z = 0.150 ( Higher number moving the cam position forward )
HTC = 0.010 ( Higher number puting the angle of your Head down, you lock to the steering wheel )

Now , all you have to do is to play around utill you found the best cam position and fov for your personall usages , you have to known we all have different monitors inche’s , we all sitting in a different rooms and are not at the same position between our eyes and our monitor , so you need to speend a fev tryes until you notice the best solution for you.
