A glossary of skins in the game and their unlock methods

Secret code unlocks

The most straightforward item unlocks in the game are given by inputting a code by going to Settings: Redeem code

Special unlocks

These are skins that require special in-game actions to unlock

Complete a full run of all 4 zones for a full descenders legendary set.

Team skins

You get these skins by ranking up. On your first rank up when you choose a team you’ll get the community shorts and shirt for your team. On every rank up you’ll unlock more skins.

PS: Kinetic is the best team

Common Skins

These skins require 1k rep in a run for a 20% chance, up to a 5k+ rep in a run for a 100% chance.

The Flat Basic and Ether Basic skins are the default skins you start the game with.

Uncommon skins

These skins require 2k rep in a run for a 20% chance, up to a 10k+ rep in a run for a 100% chance.

Rare skins

These skins require 10k rep in a run for a 20% chance, up to a 50k+ rep in a run for a 100% chance.

Extraordinary skins

These skins require 50k rep in a run for a 20% chance, up to a 250k+ rep in a run for a 100% chance.

Note: According to Rosie (a dev) the items in this set have been upgraded to extraordinary, but the icons have been downgraded to uncommon. I’m going to leave it here until the icons get updated.

Removed skins

These items were once in the game, but were removed.
