Overview
A quick fix to enhanced the feeling of FFB through most wheels. *May not work for all users*
Method
Ok so.
Go to – steamapps/common/dirtrally2.0/input/devices and open “device_defines”
*** IT IS WISE TO SAVE A BACKUP COPY OF “device_defines” BEFORE YOU CHANGE ANYTHING ***

Open it with notepad and you will see this :

For my Thrustmaster T300 i found the following line and changed the default “ffb_force=0.9” to a colossal “ffb_force=9.0”
Yes, 9.0 :
You could try a lower value such as 5.0 or something, try and find the right balance. Some people have said a value of “3” or “2.5” was good for them, it will take a bit of tweaking to find what you like.
Some of the wheels you guys have may not be listed with the line “ffb_force”, Like the G920 & G29 listed below :
You may have to add ffb_force it to the XML value as seen here : (just make sure its formatted the same way as the others are)
Dont forget to save the XML file before you close it.

Here are my in game settings and Thrustmaster control panel settings
I have set collision and Seft Aligning Torque to a very low value. I found that if SAT was too high it causes very very strong self aligning which was terrible to drive with. Along with collision set to a low value as hitting a rock caused a lot of feedback.
I have found that i do change the in game suspension setting and SAT setting slightly depending on what car i drive. This is by no means perfect for every one or every car, you may have to tweak your in game settings and the ff_force setting to your preference.
One thing i have noticed on tarmac is that the SAT forces feel significantly weaker, so you could drive in Australia on gravel and the SAT force feels reletively natural and then onto tarmac and it seems a lot less or almost off thus providing a very odd feeling.
Ive just got to Spain and done some testing and have found i need to increase my in game SAT setting to get a bit more feeling on tarmac…… Again, no idea if this is correct but it feels a bit more natural rather the the odd feeling before.
Again, i have no real idea so can only go by what i feel. Its definately odd though….
**This is all entirely at your own risk, this currently works for me but may not work for you **
