An easy way to reduce (hopefully completely get rid of) slowmotion and audio desync.
Intro
Why is it happening?
The game forces you to render textures at 1990×1440 completely ignoring your in-game resolution.
Only the menus are affected, that’s why they’re not lagging for you.
What is in the patch included?
The original idea for this patch was made by verteks . However the version included in the link below is working with the Steam version. I’m reuploading it for this guide since the links are dying fast. If mine is not working, please notice me and I reupload it.
Fix
What’s in the patch included?
There will be three files, what they do is rendering the textures in the game at much smaller resolution than the original 1990×1440. So your fps should be atleast 30. If you get below 30 then you may still experience the slowmotion and audio desync. If the patch didn’t fix the slowmoton then your pc just can’t handle the game. If it didn’t even increase the fps, then it’s not working for you or you did something wrong.
How to install? UPDATED 2018
1. Download the files needed in the links below
2. Copy and paste the unpatched .exe fike (bhd.exe) to your game main folder (usually located on C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common )
2. Locate and open the archive with the fix you’ve downloaded with unpacking programs like 7zip or winRar
3. Copy the contents of the patch (3 files) into the main game folder:
Program Files (x86) / Steam / steamapps / common / Resident Evil Biohazard REMASTER
4. Start your game and try to keep the settings you had before and check if the slowmotion dissapeared. If so, you’re good to go! Enjoy!
*In case anything goes wrong, verify the games cache!!*
