Fluffy Manager 5000 for Resident Evil

Fluffy Manager 5000

Overview

Mod manager and trainer for Resident Evil HD. Includes information about where to get more mods.

Description

Fluffy Manager 5000 is a mod manager and trainer combined in one! It might look a little bit rough around the edges, but it should work just fine and it’s updated whenever I find the time.

Feature list:

  • Mod managing! Automatically takes file backups and automatically restores them when a mod is uninstalled.
  • Trainer! Change costume at any time, edit inventory, skip doors, and more features as I add them.
  • Jukebox! Rock out to famous tunes like sg00! Or sg01, the hit single of a 4 second clock loop.
  • Supports a bunch of other games! Like RE4, RE5, RE6, RE: Revelations, and Devil May Cry 4. There’s especially a bunch of trainer functions for RE6.
  • Made with the magical power of handpuppets.

Remember to read the readme.txt about information on how to set up Fluffy Manager 5000 and how it works.

This is the official thread about the program on RE modding forums, and you’ll usually find the most up to date information about it there: [link]

Mod manager

Fluffy Manager 5000 includes mod managing which automatically handles file copying and backups. You can find mods at these locations:

Some things to keep in mind:

  • Not all released mods are directly compatible with the mod manager. All mods you find via the youtube playlist above will be, but otherwise you’re not guaranteed. If that’s the case, you’ll have to arrange the files in the way the mod manager expects it.

Trainer

Fluffy Manager 5000 also includes a trainer to let you modify various values and code snippets in memory.

As of this writing, it supports these features:

  • Inventory editor! Add any item to any slot in your inventory. Replace the lockpick with a rocket launcher, because why not.
  • Skip doors! Including a variant which plays a door sound but shows door briefly on screen.
  • Change costume!
  • Edit unlockables! This lets you freely turn off “One Dangerous Zombies” if you want to.
  • Infinite ammo! Note it works by preventing ammo counter from going down. If you have zero ammo, you can’t fire.

A couple of notes about the trainer:

  • As with mod manager, you’ll have to take note if Resident Evil HD Remaster gets patched. If it does, all memory addresses in the game will change, and the trainer will not work anymore. If that happens, I’ll make sure to release a new version as quickly as possible supporting the latest version of the game.
  • I’ve included a simple anti-cheat system in the trainer. If you use features which makes the game easier (like infinite ammo or giving yourself items), then it’ll activate and increase your time played, preventing you from adding an invalid score to the leaderboards.

This might be a bit hopeless as there’s a ton of other people cheating in other ways, but still, it might useful for people who like to experiment but still make sure their score on leaderboards is a valid one. By the way, “skip doors” does not activate anti-cheat. Several speedrunners are using a skip door mod and consider it a valid way to play the game, so I’ve decided to let the trainer think it’s okay too.

  • The trainer has network functionality. This is for RE6 where you can play coop in the same game and make sure trainer functions are in sync between players. But for RE HD, it’s not useful for anything.
