A review that I posted to help you out! – [UPDATED]
I tend to use wider paths which helps prevent traffic jams. Although food courts look good and are realistic, you’ll do better (more profits AND happier guests) using more, smaller food/drink shops that are spread out more. As it is, most shops are actually costing you money.
If the park weren’t on Sandbox, it would be losing money because people have more shops open than they actually need. A common mistake is people have a TON of performers, security, and mechanics, too. You don’t need that many, for a park that is small – medium in size two or three mechanics, and four or five security should be able to cover the whole thing.
People have staff energy turned on and have to use staff buildings for breaks, people also clump there staff buildings together, you should spread those staff buildings out more. You can also increase their capacity above 3, and institute special programs that give your staff bonuses. Look at the info box for the building.
Once you start playing without unlimited money, you’ll want to start changing the ride prices. If guests are all thinking it’s a good deal, raise the price!
Make sure to have about the right amount of garbage cans, But many tend to place them in bunched up in areas. Spread out is better. Good lighting is important as you don’t want your park at night to be pitch black. And make sure to have more than enough benches. Scattered around the park. More then a few in each section will do.
One great way to learn how to get better at themeing is to browse the Steam workshop and find scenery and rides you like to use in your parks. I spent a lot of time using other people’s great scenery before i started making my own, and learned a lot from looking at what they did. A lot of the ‘featured designers’ have Youtube tutorials, too.
If you haven’t watched them yet, I highly recommend looking up Silvarret on Youtube. He knows a ton about real world coasters and explains how to make realistic versions of most of their in-game counterparts. Yeah, every coaster in game is modeled after a specific coaster type from specific manufacturers.
Now i learned all of this from my first park i uploaded – The Jesters Playground’. I made many of the mistakes listed above such as – too many bins, too many benches, staff, entertainers. If you like. head over to my workshop and subscribe to the park to see for yourself. I also struggled to make my own coasters! So make sure you get to grips with how the coaster building system works. Youtube tutorials can help you out loads.
Also just a quick tip for you. When taking screenshots. The HUD is in the way. For a better photo, do right ctrl + shift + g all together and it will remove the HUD so you can take better photos without it in the way. Do the same to enable it back again.

That’s basically it. Just make sure to manage your staff well, keep an eye on your parks currency and you should be fine. Thanks for the time!
