- Removed the ability to buy classes with cubits (ingame cash). Tough luck if you’re a newbie!
- Removed permanent rewards from mastery. Tough luck if you’re a veteran, you get nothing.
- Added an “expansion pack”, blocking off content in an age where you give level cap raises and more content for free. on top of all those mounts and wings and what-have-you.
- Hype their paid ♥♥♥♥.
“So what?” asks Strawman. Well, you’re living in the city of gold! Except the gold is crap wrapped in gold foil and the chocolate is behind a paywall. A land where money gets you everywhere and where effort gives next to nothing.
The Plan
So you want to get out of here. I can say the same. There’s a way. You know that menu that pops up when you right-click on a game, usually when you ragequit on CS:GO? Well, do that on trove, then click Delete Local Content. Say yes to deleting it, then it will be gone. You will be freed as soon as you do. Don’t look back, as I might’ve done. Go watch some cat videos after you’ve done this deed, go outside, do the dishes. You’re free! Make sure to leave the game and don’t search Trove, do not be tempted to go back.
