[SPOILERS] How to indirectly kill as many characters as possible.

Overview

Somewhat detailed guide showing how to indirectly kill as many characters as possible.It will also show a quick bonustip on how to save most of the mentioned characters.Anyway that being said, onto the guide. Edited desc because it has come to my knowledge that it contained a spoiler

Intro

You thought Jefferson was a psychopath? He only had the potential to kill a mere 7 people including you which he didn’t even succeed at.

I also suggest you read through atleast the majority of the guide before starting a playthough based on this incase you end up missing steps along the way.

How to kill side characters

There are other characters and things that can be killed in/directly. These characters are also very easy to kill (easy as in takes almost no effort)

• Alyssa Anderso

  – Throughout the story you will see Alyssa end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. (I’m starting to think this has a sense of irony to it).
  If you don’t use your rewind to get her out of the way, she’ll start to see you as a “bad luck charm” and will refuse your help in Episode 5 (Basically commiting suicide lol)

• Blue-Jay

  – In Episode 1 if you wondered around the Price house, you would notice a bird flys into the window in Joyce’s room as you enter.

• Pompidou

  (Frank’s Dog would have been killed at just before Frank was) – You can kill Pompidou by throwing his treat into the road in Episode 2 or from being killed by Chloe in Episode 4 if you decide to kill frank.

• Homeless Woman

  – The homeless woman can be killed simply by not telling her about the coming storm when encountered behind Joyce’s dinner in episode 2.

• Fisherman

  – The Fisherman can be killed by not rewinding to save him in Episode 5 where you do kill him by accident.

• Truck Driver

  – The trucker can be killed by leaving him trapped for the inevitable storm to take him.

• Evan

  – Evan can be killed by just ignoring him. He is killed by flying debris in Episode 5 while taking a photo.

• Plant

  – Just for saying sake, The plant can be drowned by watering it twice. Max’s mother sends a text before this can happen warning her not to water the plant too much.

How to kill Victoria Chase

For what Victoria does to Kate, you and other students, I think it’s safe to say this is a well-deserved punishment.

In Episode 1, when you try enter the dorms you will come across Victoria acting like a ♥♥♥♥♥ as usual. After moving her out of the way, you will have the option to either mock her or comfort her.
As dumb as it sounds, you should comfort her as it changes her opinion on you in the future.

In Episode 2, after Chloe drops you off at Blackwell. Walk around the halls and find the vortex club stand where you then have to convince Cortney to letting you in so you can get access to the VIP section. You can still get in, if you don’t do this.

Later in Episode 4, at the Vortex Club party after getting into the VIP section talk to Victoria.
(If you didn’t talk to Cortney in episode 2, she will refuse you access. To get into the VIP section, walk around the other side of the pool and push the lane reels out the way and walk past. Doing this will knock a speaker into the pool drawing everyone’s attention but since you walked past, just rewind back and then head towards the curtains.)
Pick all the nice options/drop blame on Nathan and when given the chance, warn her about the dark room. She will acknowledge how nice you were and believe you.

After doing this she will later go to find Jefferson and end up drugged and tied up in the Dark Room beside you in Episode 5. Later in conversation with Jefferson, He’ll vaguely mention that he disposed of Victoria after you notice she isn’t there.

How to kill Frank

I’m not sure how your first play through went with frank but after not having enough ammo to kill him the first time I took his advice and killed him on the next encounter.

In episode 2 where you first meet with frank, after him threating to attack Chloe. Try to shoot him, if you do, you’ll piss him off. If you don’t, he’ll take your gun away but don’t fear he can still be kill regardless of what happens here.

In episode 3 where you raid his caravan, if you look above the kitchen area you’ll find the gun frank took from you. Also just before you enter his caravan it’s important that you do not kill his dog. Throw the treat in the car lot instead of the street.

If you forgot to get the gun from the caravan or couldn’t find it, don’t worry, you are still given another opportunity to get a gun to kill frank.

In episode 4 when you encounter Nathan after raiding his room, warren will jump in when Nathan becomes hostile and beat him up. When this happens do not stop the fight. When warren is done with him, Chloe will take Nathans gun before leaving.

Later when you arrive at the beach before going to frank, Max will have a brief conversation with Chloe about what is going to happen. If you have done everything correctly so far Chloe should be wielding a gun.

When talking to frank be as rude as possible, the situation will escalate and his dog will run out of the caravan scaring Chloe causing her to shoot the dog in panic. Frank will get annoyed and then attempt to attack Chloe which will result in Chloe shooting Frank as well.

How to kill Kate Marsh

I’m sure the majority of us didn’t save her on our first try but for those who were lucky or paid attention (not me) here is how.

She is also the easiest on this list to kill off because of how integrated into the story she is.

In episode 1 when you see the security guard David Madsen talking to Kate, take a photo instead of intervening.

Later in the Dinner when you get a phone call from Kate, don’t answer and leave with Chloe.

In episode 2 when you enter the showers Kate will be there and she’ll question you on earlier events, give an unhelpful answer (Can’t remember the specifics, will check and update)
After Victoria comes in and scares her off, leave the website link she wrote on the mirror there for others to see.
When you go to Kate to give her book back, she’ll ask you after conversation what she should do about the problem she’s having. Tell her not to go to the police.

(Optional) when you approach Mark Jefferson going into class near the end of the episode. Don’t give him the photo you took earlier.

Just after the last step when you try to talk to Kate while she’s on the roof, it will be impossible to talk her down no matter what you say.

How to kill Chloe Price

There is two ways you can kill Chloe since there are 3 Main timelines which you know Chloe in.

Said timelines being the Original one (which you start in), The first Alternative (Which you move into and the rest of the story continues in after saving Chloe) The Second Alternative (Where Chloe is in a wheelchair).

You can Indirectly kill her by Saving Arcadia Bay at the end of the game but that also undoes any other killings you made as you have left the timeline it happened in.

A way you can kill her without undoing your “kills” would be to directly kill her in the second alternative timeline since is doesn’t have any real effect on the story but then its not the same as she is asking you to kill her and you leave the timeline straight afterwards.

But that’s still a kill right? No? I guess that’s your choice. (See what I did there?)

How to kill Mark Jefferson

To become the biggest killer you must take the leaders place.

To kill Mark Jefferson, Talk to David Madsen in Episode 5 after he has Jefferson knocked out on the floor. When given the option, tell him that Jefferson killed Chloe.

This is piss him off and he’ll kill Jefferson.

That wasn’t so hard.

Bonus Tip, How to Save all these Characters

If you followed the guide, you now know what not to do. So doing the opposite or not this will theoretically save all the characters mentioned.

Saving the bird is slightly different though, you save the bird by rewinding and opening the window for the bird to appear again later in the story when visiting the house again. When it appears again you can open the window for it to escape. I’m not sure what happens if you leave the bird there and not let it out since you don’t go back to the house after you get the oppotunity to let it escape. Maybe it dies, maybe it takes over the house and kicks everyone out. nobody knows.
