Overview
Get Relative Pacifism, No Rest for the Pro, and Zero Knockouts in one run very easily.
The Squad
Disclaimer – make sure you know the game well before doing this or it will probably make very little sense 🙂
Step 1: Create an aumaua ranger with maxed Strength, Dexterity and Perception. Bear companion and Wounding Shot. Stealth and extra Might backgrounds. Make sure that you play in story mode for the easiest possible combat. Loot everything and then sell everything to the tutorial vendor because he buys things for ludicrous amounts. Make extra sure that none of the mandatory companions get knocked out in the prologue, otherwise play as normal.
Step 2: Gilded Vale – head straight to the inn and recruit 5 more aumaua rangers just like your main character. Your six bears can tank anything and them getting knocked out won’t ruin the achievement. In turn, your actual team will barely take damage if at all, making resting unnecessary. Max Stealth on all your squad members on every level up, it will be important. Do the quest that involve the least amount of killing, the stolen supplies for the blacksmith, the bear cave, rescue the inn’s cook. Go to the bridge to the south of the world map and do the quest for the merchant standing on the road – this is mandatory as you will need the extra intellect cap. Make sure you buy some lockpicks after the blacksmith’s quest! Skip Anslög’s Compass and Raedric’s Hold entirely. Head to Caed Nua when ready and sneak into the main room, killing the ghosts so that you may talk to the Steward. Sneak past the dungeon spiders and kill the xaurips for the key. Pull Maerwald and pull some beetles, they will start killing each other and none of them will count as your kills. The fortress is yours and you can proceed with your underleveled goonsquad to act 2.
Step 3: In Defiance Bay, do all the side quests with the least amount of killing again, the svef addict one, the introduction quests to Dozens and Knights, Find the dead boy in the harbor and enter the warehouse for the delivery quest. Side with the Doemenels and kill Veranzo to gain their favor. Doemenel quests include only one kill overall so they are the clear choice. Convince the thugs to leave you alone with your brutish might and break in a manor for some jewelry. Assassinate one guy after and you are done. Infiltrate the catacombs and sneak past everything to the 2nd level. Pay off the mercenaries, then “borrow” the acolyte’s hood in the northern room, and have him practice with you, then proceed to play a game of pretend with the cultists, no need to kill anyone!
Step 4: Your kill count should be at a comfortable level at this point, around 60-70, but the next few zones will variably involve some killing. Head to the sanitarium and do the quest there next. After the initial breakout you can sneak past everything else. Heritage Hill is next, the streets teeming with the undead. Maneuver your way to the tower and kill the zombies in the left room only. You can sneak past everything on the 2nd floor to the top. After talking to the scientist zombie you can head back down and up to the fampyr’s house. Convince her that you’re worthy and sneak back one last time through the infested streets to the top. Make your choice and then head out of town to Dyrford. You can skip all of the quests since they involve a fair amount of combat. Spend your gold on some ranged weapons for your overpowered rangers, while making sure you keep maxing sneak on them, guns work best to ensure you 1 shot everything. Get some info from the priests and head up to the ruins, sneaking past as much as possible – your kill count will definitely rise a bit in there so be wary! Spam through all the quests after the 3 quests are done with and enter act 3.
Step 5: Zoom straight to Gilded Vale and rest in the inn, choosing the Mechanics Bonus. Then, do some main story quest until you can go to Twin Elms, skipping everything in your way. Pick up only the quest for the pale elves, and sneak into the temple. This is where you need your lockpicks. Infiltrate the sanctum and give their leader the key. Head to any merchant afterward and respect your main character to 18 Intellect, and put the thinking hat on. With 19 Intellect you can convince Gods, and so your quest will not fail, completing the main objective. All that’s left is to go to Burial Isle and of course spec back to maximized Strength after the deal is done. There are some unskippable ghosts on the isle, so keep an eye out on your kill count before you jump into the pit for the final showdown. You are probably level 5-6 at this point, but fear not, you will prevail.
Step 6: There are TRAPS in there, so make sure you save, and if anyone gets knocked out, reload. Kill as little as possible as you make your way down. On the second level, there are some mandatory fights, so if your kill count is above 150 at this point you might be in some trouble. Head down to face Thaos and 1 shot his existence by simultaneously shooting him with all your rangers. Have the bears tank the statues while the rangers gun them down. Decide the fate of the world and enjoy your triple achievement victory!
Thanks for reading! This is a very quick and fun run, I recommend that you try it!
