My Sunny Resort Guide

Guests for My Sunny Resort

Guests

Overview

This guide helps you to serve your guests.

Guest Arrival

The reception can be found at the same place in all of your resorts — in the middle of the north side. Guests will arrive at regular intervals and wait to be assigned to a room. The rate at which guests arrive is determined by your resort’s popularity (which can be increased with decorations) — the more popular your resort is, the sooner you’ll have additional guests waiting for a room!

There are two factors that are important when assigning guests to a bungalow:

Group Size – guests want to have accommodations suitable to their group size (a group of five will refuse to take a small bungalow that houses 3 people)

Star Class – guests have standards; a group with a high star expectation will not take a lower quality bungalow; however, a group with low expectations will gladly take a more prestigious bungalow — but they will only pay as much as they would have in a bungalow with their star class

When guests arrive, the thought bubbles over their heads will tell you right away if you have suitable accommodations:

• Green – you have an appropriate bungalow vacant
• Orange – you have an appropriate bungalow, but there are still guests in it
• Red – you cannot meet this guest’s expectations – you do not have a suitable bungalow

If you do not have room for your guests, and you have already unlocked a taxi stand (level 30 and up!) you can also transfer them to other resorts.

How to tend to your guests

Initially, you’ll find your guests at the your resort’s reception, where they are patiently waiting for you:

Once you have assigned them a bungalow, they will roam around your resort independently.

Occasionally, they will have various needs and wishes you can help them with:

  • Questions – questions appear as pins over your guests’ head. They may be about the weather, writing postcards, finding souvenirs and more. Answering them is easy – just click on the pin!
  • Needs – guests will occasional have needs — such as food, entertainment, or supplies and souvenirs.

Simply click on them and drop them on a building or attraction that fulfills that need. If you don’t know what’s what, you can always check the sign outside of the buildings:

  • Wishes – guests will often request certain products, such as a favorite meal, or something for their day at the beach:

You can fulfill these by producing the respective items in your buildings, and then clicking on the quests.

Guest Wishes and Products

Occasionally, guests will have special wishes — they might want to eat a certain food, or some toys for their outing on the beach. These will be displayed over your guests’ heads. Of course, it’s your job to take care of these wishes to make your guests’ stay as pleasant as possible.

Guests will only want products from buildings of their own star class or lower. So for instance, if you have a Barbecue Restaurant (3 stars), but only have 2 star bungalows, and therefore 2 star guests, they will never ask for those products.

Products are manufactured by employees in their respective buildings. For instance, the retailer in the Beach Supply Store makes flip flops, kites and sand toys.

You can see if you can fulfill a wish right away, by the color of the border around it:

• Green – you have the desired product in stock
• Yellow – you don’t have the product in stock, but you have the means to produce it
• Red – you don’t have the appropriate building or employee to produce the product

To produce a product, you can either click on the symbol over the guest’s head directly, or select the production symbol (a box with a plus) in the ring menu of the corresponding building.

In the window that opens up, you can select how many of an item you would like to produce — depending on how many units you chose to produce, the production process can take a while. Once the production is finished, you can click on the symbol over the production site to store it.

Once your product is in stock, a click on the guest’s wish is enough to fulfill it!
