Forewarning!
Once you have slected a Starter Deck and completed the Tutorial, you’ll not be able to change it again. Instead whatever deck you choose will be with you for the entire game, or until you reset your Profile.
Once you’ve progressed further into the game, you’ll unlock the Deck Templates which are accessed by the Create New Deck ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You’ll have to manually collect the cards yourself in order to unlock and use a Template. Which is why it’s important to choose the Deck that you want to use from the very beginning.

Recommended For Beginners?
Anything that splashes White is an ideal starter deck for Beginners and/or anyone else looking for a quick and easy start. Since White runs a lot of Auras, Lifegain, and Token Production, it’s a very versatile and forgiving colour that can hold the AI back long enough to secure a strong board presence.
Updates
Update 1 (08/06/2016) – Added tables to cut the length of the Guide and make it easier for people reading from the in game browser. I also fixed some broken urls, expanded on the reasoning behind recommending White, and found a slight mistake with the “Blue / Red” Deck that included the same entry twice.
Update 2 (08/06/2016) – Added the Deck Titles to section titles to make deck match up easier, especially for first time players to Magic.
