Overview
This guide describes the Undercover Cop game mode, since every time i played it, something went wrong.
The rules
This gamemode is a bit more complicated than the others, so i’m posting the rules the game has for that mode.
• If you’re the Undercover Cop (UC) the game will tell you in the countdown to start the match, if you didn’t read it, look for a star on the top left of the screen, at the side of your name.
• The UC CANNOT kill other Cops, Civilians, Dogs, or NPC (Non-Player-Character) Criminals (The ones in the Radio Tower [DLC], Dry Dock [DLC] and Financial maps, that hold the money).
Once the players start looting, you can start killing the players.
• If you kill the NPC’s mentioned, you will be marked out as the UC for other players to see.
• If you kill a player after they start looting, you won’t be marked out (Neither as a traitor), so you can still remain undercover.
• If a player takes the UC from behind as a human shield, the player will NOT become a traitor. That means the person grabbed is the UC. The players can tell if a person is the UC by seeing if they’ve tried killing any cops. But the UC can always try to shoot without hitting on purpose!
• Other Cops will not attack the UC, you can run to them and fight on their side.
• If a player dies (Including the UC) he will NOT come back as a Cop unlike the Fragile Alliance gamemode.
• Not sure, but i think NPC enemies do more damage in this gamemode. Maybe to excuse the low probablity that a NPC would kill a player, so theres less suspicion on the UC.
