Overview
If you are new to this game or you just heard about this mechanic for the first time, or you just don’t understand the tutorial, this guide should help you
What is Wild Draw 4 (a.k.a +4)
As you know, +4 serves 2 purposes:
- Allows you to change the colour to your desire
- Makes the next player draw 4 cards
+4 is a powerful weapon that allow you to bully your opponent with 1 compromise, where you can be challenged.
+4 is worth 50 points, equivalent to Wild Card
When you can play +4
+4 can be played at any time, OR when:
- Someone, at any moment plays a +4 (Only when Jump-In is allowed)
- When the game allows Stacking AND the player before you PLAYED +4.
However, it would be not possible when the player before you:
- Played a Skip
- Played a Draw 2 (+2)
- Played a Reverse
- PLAYED Wild Draw 4 on you (Only if STACKING is not allowed)
How to challenge and what it does {Example below}
When someone plays a +4 on you, you will (or not, when No Bluffing is ON) get this kind of prompt:
In picture above, AI Luna played +4
The colour on Discard Pile before +4 is played is Blue.
it is illegal for anyone to play it if they still have a card that matches the colour before +4.
Your opponent will show you their card for a brief second. As in above, the colour before +4 is Blue.
If:
- AI Luna has a Blue card, she has to draw 4 card instead, and you have your turn
- AI Luna does not have a Blue card, you lose your turn, and you have to draw 4+2=6 cards instead

Tips & Treats
- You assure that your next opponent only has one card and you know their colour.
- They choose the colour that match the colour before. Player sometimes are dumb, or they just want to trick you
- They have too much cards. They might have all colours in their hands
Extroduction
You cannot challenge them if Bluffing is not allowed.
