Kingdom Come: Deliverance Guide

Guide for Henry's first month, legitimate kit, minimal stealing and economical quest sequence. for Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Guide for Henry’s first month, legitimate kit, minimal stealing and economical quest sequence.

Overview

First months (formerly two week, I got round to finishing it) guide to enjoying Kingdom Come Deliverance. This is more of a second play-through guide, although you could do it first time. It expects you to know how to get the missions and quests done. This is a guide to getting the quests done in good order, with not a lot of back and forth across the map. A also experiencing the game in a role play fashion. If you are on PC download the timescale mod, to slow the game down a bit. This is a guide for legitimate kit, with minimal stealing and un-necessary activity.

Day 1-2 – Grind for Henry’s future.

Day 1-2.

So despite the tediousness of spending the first hour or more of your game picking Herbs, this activity will boost your cash and strength better than any other activity in Skalitz. I role play that Henry has a grand dream of leaving the town and exploring the world. So every day he picks herbs and earns money. He is saving for his future. By choosing leg day and botanist perks and selling at the right places you can increase your strength up to level 4 at least. You can make maybe 500 coin. Not all in cash but you will need to directly swap herbs for all four types of repair kit at the tool stall and trader.

Sell all your mums and dads food as well as it has no negative effects. I rode of of Skalitz to Talmberg with good strength and around 250 coin and only carrying bandages marigold and repair kits and a bit of food and smelling of roses. Its a clean and efficient grind for the first few hours.

The next stage is getting better kit. I don’t buy any armour or weapons from this point on. You get it all for free from the game itself. Mainly from mission bandits and road encounters. So your using Radzig’s sword and the set of Talmberg armour. Always play this mission right and you get enough resources from Talmberg.

You could steal more stuff from Talmberg guard rooms and such. But the mission armour lock-picked from the first guard room on the right wont arouse as much suspicion as looting the whole place, its also pretty good. A Helmet, Gambeson and neck mail are all worthy early game kit. Why waste time lurking around and pinching stuff you cant sell or carry? and risk being sent to jail?. Play your cards right with Lady Stephanie and you can persuade 50 coin from her which is enough for 1 minutes game-play.

Get out onto the road to Skalitz and fight the first bandits, take what bits increase your armour, arm plate and maybe a jerkin and one has Noble boots. You still cant carry much here.

Day 3-4 – Start as you mean to go on.

Day 3-4

Once at Rattay you wake, sell any unwanted kit at the sword smiths, armour smiths and tailor. Other good locations are the blacksmiths, huntsman and Cobbler. Also sell the treasure maps you are given if you have the DLC. You can find the locations on the internet anyway, so you don’t need them, and they have good value. Sell them to huntsman or trader Hagen. Pay off the miller and Quack, repair your kit. Sleep in the camp with campfire just next to the training ground. Save bed here. Try and get to your fight training with Bernard as early as you can the next day.

Try and win both competitions with Capon, his bow is very good for an early bow, way higher stats that any other low strength bow. The real sword fight with Capon is full damage, not a training fight. You may take blows and your nice new kit gets damaged. I still wear the Talmberg stuff here, let that get damaged and then swap to the Rattay town watch kit, which is really just a gambeson and helmet. You could sell the extra helmet and bludgeon.

Try to get done early enough by 1100am and go and join the Baiiff’s service and get on patrol. You fist fight capon again and get out hunting with him the next morning. Sleep at the same camp by the training ground.

Day 5 – Henry commits a rare crime.

Day 5

Before the hunt mission I commit a rare crime. The guard tower in the church yard in Rattay is easy to get into and not watched much. Its a hard lock, but watch the NPC’s they leave the door unlocked at certain times. So just walk in and help yourself. I role play that as well as the town watch kit, Henry is also given a sword. In here are mid level bows and maces, short swords and the long-sword Thumper.

Henry cant carry much kit still, and his skills are low, so you cant just load up. I only take long distance arrows and Thumper. You will need a good low level sword like this. If you don’t want to steal, the game only gives you a low level hunting sword and bow at the hunting camp. The bow isn’t as good as Capons.

When rescuing Capon from the Cuman camp, shoot one Cuman in the head with the bow and fight the second. Bernard will have trained you feint strike and perfect block. So do just that. These are weak enemies and Henry has a good chance of winning a clinch. Not a lot of kit from these guys. Maybe a better coif, leather gloves. I always keep Henry’s red scarf. Its the only clothing I keep throughout the entire game. Its a lucky scarf. So I never wear another outer-garment.

Day 6 – Looking good in chain-mail.

Day 6

Once back at Rattay, Henry should now be kitted out with Open helmet, coif, neck mail, gambeson, jerkin, vambraces, thumper and Capons bow.

You get sent out straight away to deal with the stable masacre at Neuhof so no time to resupply etc.

Fight the bandit in the woods, or call Bernard for help to do so, but you really must try this fight on your own to boost your stats. You will get leg chausses and sturdy gambeson as loot. Once back with Bernard take the Bandit camp mission “Ruin” and set off to look for the charcoal burners to the south to trace Ginger.

Speak to the first charcoal burners and then head off south to the first bandit camp in Ruin. Again you need to be fighting these bandits, get off Pebbles as he really is a soft horse. Use your bow as much as you can, make sure you don’t get surrounded, try to draw them out of the camp one by one. The loot from this camp is still ok, you will get your first chain-mail here from the leader.

Its a short common hauberk and trashed, and expensive to repair but its worth it. Also short brigandine chausses. If you want to repair any new kit do it now quickly by heading back to Rattay, but if not head straight for the other charcoal burners. Try and get back to the quest before the day ends.

I always come across mid level bandits fighting on the road here on the river between the charcoal burning camps in Talmberg woods. Just watch them fight, and most of them die. You may have to fight the last one or two. But its worth it for better loot. I got short noble hauberk somewhere along here. So that is always a keeper, along with Composite gauntlets I found. These are my favourite gloves as I think they look the best. kill the bandits chasing Ginger, again, bow one, sword the other. Not a lot of kit from these. Always gather coin and food and repair kits. Sleep in their camp.

Day 7 – Nursing a hangover.

Day 7

Finish the ginger quest, report to Bernard at the Stables, and get the second bandit camp mission. Now up to Uzhitz to look for Limpy. Go straight to the scribe in town and learn to read. Then follow the Limpy quest leading you to Father Godwin and agree to meet in the Inn later. Then go and do the “Horse that bolted” side quest at the stables there in Uzhitz. You get a fine horse Caparison for completing the quest. Back to father Godwin in the pub, complete his quest and plan to go to Ledetchcko for Reeky the next morning with your hangover.

You could unlock the quest “Playing with the devil” here, but I don’t enjoy this quest, and whatever the outcome, you loose reputation and there is no material gain either. You may need an extra sleep here due to the hangover. Best place is the hunting camp you used with Capon earlier.

Day 8 – Finding buried treasure.

Day 8

Go and do the second bandit camp on the hill to the south west of Ledetchko, kill these and loot, but your main objective is the chest in the ruin next to the road near the camp from Ancient treasure Map IV.

Here is Lightweight dark Brigandine which is a good low level body armour.

Whilst in this part of the map its worth going down the hill to Treasure Map X, its a grave so easy loot. Your aiming here for St Michael’s sword. Its strength 9, but I had just hit that level.

It will always pay off to fight the bandits as much as you can one on one. And remember the herb picking at the start? Well its payed off now, having a top 10 sword in your first few days, and all without crime! (well just one).

So quickly back and look for Reeky. His is a timed quest so try and get this all done in one day. Use the dialogue with the Bath maid he visits to find his loot behind his house. Quickly find Reeky as this quest is timed. Use him to help you kill the three bandits that are chasing him. He may die, but oh well. Whilst in this part of the map, head to the interesting site on the cliffs below the cave. Here is noble bridle and horse armour. Plenty of guides out there to help you rock climb down to it. Sleep at the Ledetchko inn for one night.

Day 9 – “I don’t want to tread on anything vital”

Day 9

You can now come off the main quest, as the next part finding Timmy isnt timed.

Back to Rattay, On the way into Rattay drop in on Teresa, give her a silver ring you will have looted/found so far. Now this is the best time to take her for a walk and then complete her DLC for the shield she gives you.

I find this is the best time to complete it as thinking about it, its the first time you see her again since leaving the mill a few days ago. You look hard as nails now and have fought multiple enemies.

Henry wants the past off his chest and her DLC fits in the storey here nicely.

Into Rattay, sell everything you don’t need, repair what you do. You should now be wearing Open helmet, coif, neck mail or head chain mail, sturdy Gambeson, light dark brigadine, short common or noble hauberk, vambraces, noble dark shoes, St Michael’s sword and Capons bow.

Complete your Chain strike and riposte training with Bernard, ask for the third ruin camp, complete the “Aquarius” side quest with the Bailiff, and drop in on Capon who is in bed healing. Agree to meet him that night at the baths. Tidy up any kit, selling and so forth and maybe read a book and complete the night in the baths quest with Capon.

Day 10 – Pebbles gets retired to the paddock.

Day 10

In the morning have a sleep at Teresa’s to get rid of the hangover and give her the bouquet of flowers. Take the “Waldensian” mission off Sir Hanush and head to Neuhof stud farm again. Raid the third bandit camp now near the stables. Some good loot here, the Dyed Baverian Gambeson.

At the stables you should have enough cash for a new horse. 2.5k is enough for Chollima. This horse is the very best horse for its price. 510 Stamina, good speed, below average carrying capacity but hey that Stamina and good bravery. Chollima can gallop at full speed across the whole map without rest.

Try and buy at least noble horse shoes here, you may not have the money though. You will have the Noble bridle to put in the horse. Your cash will be at an all time low now, but don’t fret, you soon make it back.

Pick up the Sport of kings mission from the stable woman and take the horse to Talmberg. Pick up the “At your service my lady” mission from lady Stephanie and the “House of god” mission from Sir Divish. Its easier to leave the mission horse here and teleport your own. Go back to Uzhitz and get through the Waldensian mission as quick as you can.

Sleep at Uzhitz Inn and finish the the Waldensian’s quest in the morning.

Day 11 – Early to bed, early to rise.

Day 11

Finish the the Waldensian’s. Try and get the good outcome, as there is a good prize for this.

Be back in Talmberg for the next day to complete the sport of kings mission. Here you will win the 4 saddlebag Noble Saddle. The very best in the Game.

So now you have one of the best horses, the best tack other than military horseshoes, noble saddle and bridle. Oh by this point you should have looted some spurs from a bandit. I had Cuman spurs by this point.

Now Henry goes back to Rattay. Hanush gives you St Michael’s sword as the reward for Waldensian’s. Sell this or keep if you didn’t go to treasure map X. Get the mission “Scavengers” from Kunesh to re-visit Skalitz. Get the final Ruin bandit camp mission from Bernard. Sleep at Teresa’s.

Day 12 – Busy day.

Day 12

Head towards Sassau, raid the final camp on the way. Head to Sassau Monastary and open up the “In gods hands” quests at the infirmary with Johanka. Begin the treatment of the patients and you will be asked to look for an old priest in Skalitz which will open up “A man of the cloth” side quest. Also if your first aid skill isn’t high enough you will be asked to go all the way back to Rattay to learn from the executioner. Keep all this on the back burner for now.

Get through the house of god quest part until you find the devils skull. Now its a big trip out again.

Visit the engraver in the court yard and learn that the Moldavite is missing. Here is a good time to bump into Matthew and Fritz at the Sassau Inn before the bridge. Agree to help find them a job.

Now we’re up to Skalitz. First stop is the location of the missing Moldavite. Two low level bandits to kill, but their chest has some cool items to sell if you want.

Now to Rovna to seek the missing priest, then visit treasure map IX location next the bridge at the south of Skalitz .

Here is the coolest and rarest Aachen dyed Brigandine in the whole game. Red and yellow, Skalitz colours. I love this chest plate and despite only having average stats, I love its look, it suits Henry and no one else wears it. This is a unique item and not in any shops. Wear it with pride with Henry’s red scarf.

Make your first visit into Skalitz and run the gauntlet of high tier bandits that are always here. Play smart, stay on your horse and wait till they mostly kill each other. You may have to kill off the last one or two, but use your bow until one is left and then fight them, smartly, you will have riposte and chain strike so use them! And your dog if you have him.

Here there is valuable loot, decent armour. I go for riveted Pauldrons. I think they look the best when pared with the dyed Brigandine.

Try and use your repair kit to repair unwanted items so they are worth more to sell. I found here the best looking Riveted decorated chausses. Yea stats are lower and they are heavy, but they look great.

In the future after this armour find, I only look out for Leipa Pouldrons from the tournay. Again this isn’t for the stats. I wear the different items to look the best, how Henry would look. He isn’t a full knight, he hasn’t a squire, page or true wealth. He must look like the Man at arms he is. So Brigandine is the way to go. Leipa or riveted Pauldrons are the best looking in the game. I will only upgrade much later with Zoul plate. But that is much later. Oh and from this point I havnt worn any helmet. Only the most bad-ass dudes go into battle with a naked noggin. Henry is now bad-ass enough he can pull it off.

In Skalitz find Beran’s cup and coin, head up and find father Simon, get the treatment from him.

Return to Rovna and tell the farmer about the priest. Now make a big loop over to Talmberg quarry and ask about the stone piece. Now carry on to Rattay if you need to, get the advice from the executioner and ask him about the crying woman and open the quest “Tough Love”.

Revisit Teresa, but don’t take her on a date, just ask about the jobs for Fritz and Matthew. Get the job for them on the way back north through Ledetchko, back into Sassau in late afternoon.

Tell Fritz and Matthew about their jobs, give the Moldavite to the engraver, Speak with Zmola and agree for the meeting at night, finish the conversation with the master builder, fix the broken leg, create and administer the potion to Philip and don’t provoke the custodian when he visits. He will throw you in jail whatever you say, so just shut up.

That should finish the medical side of things, here so you might have a free hour before it goes dark. Read a book. Meet with Zmola, finish that quest and kill him. Hes a good fighter and has some cool loot. Also when it all goes quiet you can practice lock picking all around the Mill here and the courtyard. You should not need to steal anything, but picking the dozen or so chests will boost your lock-picking without much effort as no one is around here much.

Sleep at the infirmary.

Day 13 – Rare day off.

Day 13

The next day will leave you some time to hunt for the meat for the infirmary until the Crown is ready.

The quest “House of god” and “in gods hands” should be completed. Make sure to have the final words with the patients to see how they are doing.

Its well worth completing as many of these side quests as you can, and early on. It boosts your stats better than any other activity and gives you great free kit. All money now should be being saved for the cash cow that is “from the ashes” DLC.

Whilst waiting for the crown you could pick up the “lost in translation” side quest from the mill on the road back towards Rattay. Although don’t waste time, you need to be back in Rattay for 6pm for a date with Teresa. This is a nice date, taking her out for a pub tea.

Bet on the tournay with miller Peshek. Bet 100 coin against yourself to win.

Once finished catch up with Capon in the town, hes usually in one of the pubs till around 1100 when he walks back to Pirkstein castle. If you have timed the days right the “Tournay” is sceduled for the next day. Take Capons mission to win it. If you don’t get to Teresa’s date you can do it next day.

Sleep at the camp next to the outside arena.

Day 14 – “Henry of Skalitz!”

Day 14

You don’t have to enter the Tournay until the afternoon.

So visit Bernard and finish the Ruin quest. He will direct you to Talmberg to help Captain Robard.

Head into Rattay and sort out kit. Visit the bailiff for reward for “lost in translation” and get the directions for “tough love” quest.

Catch up with Beran and give him his cup back and catch up with Kunesh and finish your dialogue with him.

Enter the Archery competition for Stephanie’s Wine.

Enter the tournay and win (yea its that easy). Collect your winnings and see Capon for your Golden spurs. You may have time to complete “Tough Love” this evening. If you didn’t take Teresa out do it tonight. Get your winnings from miller Peshek. You should now have around 10K in coin.

For a great thrill, dont stop at Teresa’s just go round towards the bridge. Black Peter (the third combatant in the tournay) is waiting to ambush you. Watch out he has a poison blade. There is a side quest in Samopesh, where the blacksmith can give coin for finding out about the poison blade. But I cant remember if you can get this reward without activating the quest first. Don’t worry of your hit by his sword, you should have an antidote from the “lost in translation” quest.

Black Peter has some great Riveted Pauldrons, the less noise, visibility type that are worth more. Take these and use them.

So from the mill, head into Ledetchko and complete “Is a friend indeed” quest with Matthew and Fritz and now to Talmberg to complete “The house of God” and “At your service”. You may not have time depending on how long you spend with “Is a friend indeed” quest, there is a long and short way of completing this. Short being Henry getting his two mates to finish their work at the mill and stop causing trouble. Also I would finish “At your service” late in the day as the scene with Stephanie fits better in the evening.

So either spend the night at Ledetchko and complete the Talmberg quests in the morning or try and get them all done by sundown and spend the night at Talmberg. Obviously collect the Roan from Uzhitz prior to going to Talmberg. And open the “Raiders” quests with Robard.

Day 15 – “Where’s my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sword?”

Go and attack at the first bandit camp in Raiders and head to the Mill to look for Timmy back on the main quest line.

There are three or even four ways to play this quest, all are fun and its worth trying all by reloading a save before you speak to the mill girl. All variants end up with you scouting the main banit camp, just in different ways. Either go pretending your a bandit after making friends with Morcock. Or go and scout alone, or dressed as a Cuman.

However you want to do it, you have all day to do so, so just enjoy it. If you do go to the Inn in Samopesh, visit the blacksmith and complete quest “Dead men tell no tales” regarding black peter and the tournay.

Day 16 – Has anyone actually seen a Cuman?

I gave a night and half a day here to complete the scouting and attacking of the camp. When that part of the quest is finished you will start again in your new room at the Rattay lower castle.

Go to the meeting at the upper castle, get the next mission “Questions and Answers”. I would then travel past the Inn in the glade and begin “Masquerade” with Fritz and Matthew. The chat with Matthew really fits in here with how Henry would feel at this time after the killing of Runt and the battle.

You should start picking up Cuman face plates and harnesses when raiding the camps in “Raiders” missions. This will help with “Masquerade” later.

So go back to Talmberg, get the next Raiders camp from Robard. Don’t see Divish yet, if you have the From the Ashse’s DLC, wait few more days to start this, until you have finished “Masquerade” and the quest that follows it.

Go to Merhojed and begin the investigation into the raid and the plague treatment. Then head off to Sassau for the treatment. If you didn’t go to Samopesh earlier, go through there now and complete quest “Dead men tell no tales” regarding black peter and the tournay.

In the infirmary speak to brother Elias about the fight with Frtiz and Matthew for “A Costly Brawl”, use speech or money to resolve that. Sort out the treatment and head back to Merhojed.

On the way I would attack the bandit camp near Rovna for “Raiders” and pass Captain Robard on the way back to get the next camp mission.

Finish the treatment at Merhojed and sleep there when waiting for the cure to work. The only save bed free in the village where you wont get disturbed, is the one from man you buried. Sick I know, but yea its the only free bed.

Day 17 – “I’m here brother”

Wake, complete “Questions and answers”. This brings you back to Rattay if you choose the best option.

Whatever you do go and start “Masquerade” In conjunction with “Radiers”, this will have you attacking the bandit camp between Talmberg and Uzhitz. Get the Cuman armour sets, there should be enough in this one camp. You only need covered helmets and harnesses.

Head back to Talmberg, get the next “Raiders” camp from Robard and head back to Inn in the glade. Get the further quests from Andrew, speak with the people suggested, When up in Uzhitz as part of this, attack the camp to the East of the stables.

Here is a dog to kill for the skin you need. For the teeth and feathers the witch in the woods north of Talmerg, and the Talmberg Huntsman can sell you all you need. Complete “Masquerade” and “A Costly Brawl” at the Inn and speak with Andrew to unlock “Besmirched”.

Then head to see Radzig at Talmberg lookout point. Unlock “All that Glisters” and also unlock “The kings Silver” here from Radzig.

He will direct you to Rovna as well as Rattay to see Tobias Feyar. Head back to Rattay first, on the way get the last “Raiders” quest from Robard and raid that camp on the way to Rattay.

In Rattay, speak with Adam as part of “Besmirched” and get the clues from him. You should have enough time to drop in on Robard at Talmberg to finish “raiders” and unlock “Interlopers” to go to Sassau. Dont go to Sassau, instead head to the Rovna. Sleep at the cottage south of Rovna.

Day 18 – Matthew’s pep talk.

At Rovna look for Adams Cross prior to speaking to the wounded man.

Then follow the quest till after you confront Ulrich.

First back to Rattay to speak to Tobias Feyar again. On the way you can speak with Andrew at the Inn in the glade about Adams cross. This will finish “Besmirched” here. Fritz and Matthew are here at the pub and wearing armour. Speak to Matthew and unlock “A rock and a hard place” with him.

In Rattay with the documents from Ulrich, Feyar says he will join you at Sassau. Finish “Besmirched” with Adam.

This may be a bit of waste of time back at Rattay twice in as many days so reward yourself with the quests “Clothes make the man” and “Robber baron” by speaking with Capon. He should be in his room at the lower castle or in one of the pubs.

Spend the rest of the day doing this quest as its great fun and a hard fight. It also gives the remedy in Merhojed time to finally work. This is so Johanka heads back to Sassau. Finish “Robber baron” with Hanush. Sleep in your new room at the lower castle.

Day 19 – Henry the thief.

Now time for some soul searching for Henry. I usually complete “A rock and a hard place” and “Gallows Brothers” the easy way. i.e just by-passing the whole quarry part of the quest, which to be honest is very hard, and it means possibly killing Talmberg guards.

The way I see it is that by this point in the story, Henry is still attached to his friends and old life, and his youth. He also wants to get ahead in his career by rubbing up with the nobility and gaining fame and wealth. So going against Divish, a man who is loyal and friendly with Henry, and has provided Henry shelter and wealth goes against what is right.

So how to justify Henry stealing from him? Well maybe the pull of his friends is still strong. Henry agrees with them, wants to help them through this, but in a protecting fashion. Stop them getting killed and maybe get them finally on the straight and narrow.

So where does Henry’s wrath point at this time? Well Andrew of course. Andrew appears in Henry’s eyes as the person encouraging Matthew and Fritz into a life of crime.

So snatch the cash in Talmberg tower. Bring it back. And complete the quest by fitting up Andrew with the crime. You need to be talking to Andrew about the robbery prior to doing it to unlock “Gallows brothers”.

Give Matthew and Fritz their share of the money and speak about Andrew to unlock the part of the quest to fit him up. Then back to the Inn and stash the sack, and then back to Robard to snitch on Andrew. Who lets be honest doesn’t deserve to die as he is actually on the side of the Quarry-men in this case.

This quest for me, along with the “Hare Hunt” are very hard on the conscience. In both, Henry is faced with committing real crime and even killing men loyal to the nobility. In all it depends on your design of Henry. On a plus point, during the later conversation with Divish when starting “From the ashes” Divish appears to hint that he knows that Henry has a way of getting money. So maybe he does know, and decides to let it be, as he is more attached to Henry than Henry realises.

Day 20 – Madona of Sassau.

So these activites for the last few days are all to keep Henry busy and in a holding pattern, until its the right time to head back into Sassau.

There is a lot to do there, and this guide will help you get it all done at the same time, so no “back and forth” as I put it.

Also most of these quests have been done to unlock NPC’s who will eventually move to Pribyslavitz, when you start “From the ashes” later.

So start in Sassau town by questioning the blacksmiths for “All that Glisters”. Then speak with Ulrich at the Inn, he gives you a good bit of ammo to use against Zach at the monastery yard. Also speak with the Fresco painter. You will use speech and even a fight with Zach’s son Vitus to eventually get Zach to talk.

You should follow his quest “Rattled” as well as this helps. You may not like Zach, but I did. He is the best option for a blacksmith at Pribyslavitz, so completing “Rattled” is worth doing. Not yet though!.

Whilst at the Monastery speak with the Overseer’s hand and get him to spill the beans about the quicksilver. Speak with the custodian to unlock “Interlopers”.

Now back into Sassau town. Complete “Rattled” and speak with Tobias Feyar at the Rathaus. This will point you towards the engravers at the courtyard.

So follow the quest at the courtyard and speak with the bathhouse lady, and then Florian under the bakers. This will unlock “Damsel in distress”. You may have enough speech to get him to tell you about Rapota following him around, but when you return to Sassau later you can pick this up.

Go to the Infirmary, but go and see Zack the blacksmith on the way there for his part of the deal.

See Johanka and begin the DLC “Madona of Sassau” and the first quest “Infernal Dream”.

Now we should go to Skalitz. You should have lined up the following missions to complete up there; “infernal dream”, “The kings silver”, “Damsel in distress” and “Interlopers”.

You could finish “All that Glisters” here alone, because if you meet back up with Ulrich you get fast travel there, and depending on the ending, you will be transported back to the Sassau Rathaus.

So I would leave that for when you get back to pick up Ulrich. But its just as much fun on your own, so you can pick a method.

There is plenty of loot at the bandit camp and the murderer’s camp. Spend the day doing this. When back in Sassau, go to the custodian for the next “Interlopers” camp and then to Johanka and further her quest. Sleep at the infirmary.

Day 21- “Its all in the wrist action”, and “Its sopping wet”.

You should now follow Johankas quest. Henry should be going to Rattay, but again his old friendships are strong bonds. He must stay and help his friends Johanka and Mathias. So just follow the “Maddona of Sassau” with Johnaka. At least until you get to where you have to return to Ledetchko with “Go, and sin no more” to see Adela.

Here might be a good opportunity to start Hans Capons DLC by dropping in on him at Rattay as this quest begins in Sassau.

On the way into Rattay, it should be afternoon and a great time to see Teresa. This will get Henry and Teresa together at last and get Henrys end away for a third time (Lady Stephanie taught him all he knows).

In Rattay speak with Capon, Radzig and Feyar to further “All that Glisters” finish “Kings Silver” and open up “Game of throws”.

You could unlock the band of Bastards DLC here, but I like to wait until later as there is enough to do for now.

I wouldn’t further “All that Glisters” yet as finishing that will push you onto the next quest, which again can wait a while, till at least “Madonna of Sassau” is complete. Plus Sir Jezhek can stew in prison for a while longer.

So Head into Ledetchko and see the dice player in the tavern and Adela in the baths. This might be a good time to pick up St Georges Sword from Treasure Map VII which is nearby. Speak to Adela last as you have to escort her to Sassau and fight the sex pest and his mates.

Once back in Sassau, don’t report to Johanka, just head out and start “Game of Throws”. Here you will end up in a large bandit camp. Either play dice and follow the quest or just start fighting the whole camp. I like to fight, as its a true test, and the hardest fight in the game. 16 bandits need killing. So play clever. I usually start by shooting the guys in the archery range and then backing into a corner to fight the rest one at a time. If you go through the range to the right past the horse, through the stone arch and right against the wall, you can fight one on one between the wall and a bush. Its easier that way. Plenty of loot, Magdeburg sword and the trunk key for Capons necklace.
Once finished, raid the “interlopers” camp south of the mines.

That should end the day. Drop by the custodian to unlock the next “Interlopers” quest.

Day 22 – Don’t sleep with Adela.

Remain in Sassau and further the “Maddona of Sassau” quest. This quest as it develops is probably the hardest to get right in terms of speech, reputation and the persons Henry has to keep happy.

He cant just use brute force here at all. Like in all quests, using all his speech options and really digging into matters help. Check the quest logs and digest all the information.

The people that will help you in the end are people you may not get along with, such as the Custodian and the Sassau priest Fabian. So you must try and not piss these people off. Fabian being the most important.

So without brute force Henry must use tact and charm, and above all Henry must be peace-full and christian like to become the holy figure he needs to be at the end of the quest. Only pay off the louts who are harassing Johanka. Try not to fight them. Don’t try and bribe the Bailiff, and give all of Paval’s money away. Simply Don’t do anything bad, and don’t sleep with Adela!.

Day 23 – Walking barefoot to Uzhitz.

Start your pilgrimage to Uzhitz. It wont take long to get there. Make sure you save a lot as if you get ambushed you only get one speech check to get by, so if you get held up a second time that’s the end of it.

When you are finished, I would now visit Sir Divish and begin “From the ashes” DLC. Its about time now, and Henry should have near 30k Groshen which is enough for the initial building. Maybe Henry’s penance has made him want to help, change things for the better and offer charity to the people.

Rebuilding the village fits nicely here after Henry’s reflection on his own sins. But yea, Henry will continue to kill and even steal in certain quests for the rest of the game!.

So start the initial quest by rescuing Marius and getting appointed bailiff. Head to Rattay now to read the announcement. When in Rattay speak to Capon and further “Honeyed words” with Capon. Also finish the “All that Glisters” quest and open “If you cant beat em” quest with Radzig.

This pause with “The Maddona of Sassau” quest cant be helped. I know Henry would be pulled back to Johanka to watch over her. But this time away gives time for the Inquisitor to actually get news of Johanka and time to travel to Sassau.

Remain in Rattay overnight to further “Honeyed words” until you are asked to go to Sassau. So see Teresa again to pass some time.

Day 24 – Clanking armour or otherwise inappropriate attire.

I had a tourney happen on this day, so I completed that. See Capon in the morning. Now off back to Pribyslavitz. So get the first builds completed, the woodcutters, bridge/roads and trader. You will need to head out again to secure grain, stone, livestock and charcoal. So carry around 5k out with you for the costs. The prices don’t vary much so choose whoever you feel like. Also start picking up the NPC’s who will move to your village. So far you can ask Cornelius, Kunesh and Raspberry to move there. Raspberry you should/might have met on the Reeky quest.

The best guide I found for rebuilding is;

But simply build now the bakers, beehives, drying shed and Inn to start breaking even. Leave the village now to build up some money and head back to Sassau to continue Johanka’s quest. Finish the “Interlopers” camp on the way there and report to the custodian. Get the musk of infinite allure for Capon.

Follow Johanka’s quest. There are plenty of guides out there on how to get the good ending. The quest will finish the next day.

Were getting close to letting you lot head off on your own now. At this point I would advance Pribyslavitz as far as possible, but first head back to Rattay, see Teresa, give Capon the potion, ask Adam to be your inkeeper. On the way to Prib ask Matthew and Fritz (who are still at the Inn in the glade) and Timmy’s sister from the mill to move there. You should have enough coin to build the brewery and dice games in the Inn. With more money build the blacksmiths next, then either the guard house or stables.

When all is running smooth at Prib, back to Sassau. Finish the conversations with Mattias, Johanka, the custodian, Nicodemus and Adela. The custodian gives you a very good short sword as a prize if you met the requierments for saving Johanka. Now further the “If you cant beat em” quest and continue and enjoy the game and follow the main story.

There are still many side quests to get involved with, as well as the Bad of Bastards DLC. But from now they are not as time sensitive. As in they are not integral to Henry and his friends stories in the immediate aftermath of the Skalitz raid. So the rest of the side quests can be enjoyed at your will.

Thanks for reading.
