Want your very own Hounskull?

Overview

**This article will of course conatin spoilers, for the lightweights and purists who cannot fathom the knowledge bestowed unto them.** So you want yourself the only helmet worthy ingame to be palletable and pleasing to the eye, but do not know where to find it. Well no problem then, for I shall show you how. Of course at the moment of the creation of this guide, it is a working method and nothing is always guranteed to remain with updates and patches.

Backstory

The location of these bandits is associated, with the sidequest line “interlopers” that is assigned to you after completing the missions for Captain Bernard and Sir Robard, then being assigned to the custodian at the monastery
Specifically certain areas ingame as of the moment feature a respawn of the associated individuals even if a quest involves their death. Personally I like it because it adds a little sandbox and replayable aspect to a desolate universe, but some would disagree due to immersion breaking. But an example of this is the Robber Baron quest with Sir Wolfin, who usually of course you will be stuck fighting, and of course the whole camp respawns including Sir Wolfin, aswell it was the mission featured in the beta.
So the provided location of course will reset given probably 2 weeks ingame, allowing you to rack up more helmets and armour for your personal stash. Given that, it is at least a recurring method of aquiring the helm unlike Pribyslavitz being a sort of one time event with no bandits returning there. As far as I am aware, it can be done before all the bandit cleansing to ease your burdens.
So good luck and enjoy.

Location

Bandit Encampment in the Skalitz reigon – Aside from the helmet, there is additional equipment to aquire here.

Update and editions

I have been lacking in updating this guide, due to the fact that updates are periodic, and are likely to just be slight bug fixes.
But as of the update that has recently brought the hardcore mode into the game, the locations still contain the same exact equipment, which stands for all bandits at any place. The houndskull is yet retrieveable from the specific encampment.
But beware if you play in hardcore mode, since the enemies can easly pummel you and can take many tries to avoid being killed.

If any further changes to the equipment of the bandits, and the respawning occur in any updates, then I will make a note on it.
