Overview
An easy way to achieve a high “Clean Drive” score (or the “Safe Driver” achievement, if you don’t have it already) later in game.
Requirements
The only requirements are the DZS-90 and a steady hand. You can use the car as soon right after you unlock the Mounted Guns upgrade, you don’t need it in your garage.
Driving Safe
This method utilises the fact that aiming the DZS’ guns will cause the car to maintain its speed without having to keep the forward button pressed.
To get a high clean drive score, drive onto the highway (I’ve found this the easiest as there are no sharp turns), accelerate just enough to get past the speed required, press the right mouse button to aim the chain guns and you’re done. The car will keep driving at a comfortably slow speed, slow enough to avoid collisions or crashes, and be easy to control. Due to the lack of speed, day-to-day drives such as from Central to Kennedy Town will take much longer, working towards a higher score.
Since firing the guns doesn’t interfere with the achievement or the Clean Drive score, you can use them to shoot obstacles (cones / barriers / cars / pedestrians) out of the way. The only “critical” parts of the highway are the construction sites that block one lane, make sure to plan your route beforehand to avoid driving past them.
