Fix for Flashing Water and Animals Vibrating
The Problem
So some of you are going to be trying to push this game at a high FPS. I did, I was running it at 144, and found the same issue I had in the original were still there in the SE.
The water goes crazy and flashes at you (with sound effects) and sometime the animals appear to vibrate or freak out.
The Fix
The ONLY way to stop this is by limiting your FPS to 60 or less, the Havok engine doesn’t seem to support it very well.
I haven’t tried finding the limit to what we can put it up to, but I know that 60 is fine.
A problem I had was I couldn’t see a V-sync option in game and the Nvidia control panel option didn’t work, so I moved on to Nvidia inspector[www.guru3d.com]. However it had no Skyrim Special Edition. So I used the Base profile[gyazo.com] and tried V-sync on that, nope. Still 144 FPS.
Finally I tried just hardlimiting[image.prntscr.com] the whole profile to 60FPS and it worked.
Loaded up, no issues with water, however going from High FPS to 60 is painful.
