Overview
Maps of all Stele Locations. Also featuring Monoliths, Gateway Portals, and the Map Room.
Legend
All maps are top-down views.
Solid-colored squares represent Stele locations. The color represents height, where blue is sea level and red is high up. Pink is “very high up”!
Small colored boxes represent Monoliths. Color represents height.
Circles represent Gateway Portals to The Nameless. Note that they are centered on the portal entrance, not the pillar the doorway is on (if there even is one). Color represents height.
Large gray rectangles show bounding boxes for the areas in which Stele locations change once the Monolith in that area is complete. Be sure to refer to the correct image depending on the state of your Monoliths. Note that for the “Sage” achievement, you do not need to view both the “before” and the “after” versions – either is acceptable.
The white rectangle is the map room. Use this to find your missing Echoes.
One of your created blocks is equal to 3 in-game “units”. On these maps, the Overworld Stele locations vary horizontally from about -3235 to 3046 (6281 units or 2093 ⅔ blocks) and vertically from about -3081 to 3111 (6192 units or 2064 blocks).
These maps are at 13.5% scale and the objects are shown “much bigger” than they really are in the game!
Overworld (Initial)
This is the map of the Overworld in it’s initial state. No Monoliths (a.k.a. Touchstones) have been completed. Click to enlarge.
For the purpose of orientation, note the position of the “First” Monolith. When this Monolith is complete, the cutscene that plays shows the Gateway Portal (circle) in the bottom right corner.
Once you complete Monoliths, refer to the next section for Stele locations in that Monolith’s area (gray bounding box).
The blue-to-red color scale ranges from 0 to 1016 units (338 ⅔ blocks). Pink is “off the charts”.
Overworld (Complete)
This is the map of the Overworld in it’s completed state. All Monoliths (a.k.a. Touchstones) have been completed. Click to enlarge.
Note the addition of two gateway portals (compared the the “initial” state) representing the final Nameless area. The center pink one is the entrance and the blue one is the exit. This Nameless contains 12 Stelae. (That’s the plural of “Stele”!)
Also note that the Highlands Stelae do not really change locations. Some of them technically move a fraction of a unit, and they are classified separately in the game files.
The blue-to-red color scale ranges from 0 to 1016 units (338 ⅔ blocks). Pink is “off the charts”.
The Nameless
The pink-colored Gateway Portal in the previous section takes you to a “Climbing World” that contains 12 Stelae.
The blue Gateway Portal is the entrance and the red one is the exit.
The horizontal and vertical scale of this map is the same as the other two, but the color scale (height) is slightly different.
The blue-to-red color scale in this area ranges from -2386 to -907 (1479 units or 493 blocks).
