Overview
When you have build your base – so add there extra water purifiers and sell extra water to merchant. You will get 5 water botles per machine in just few minutes…
From water
You will need several things for this:
Powersource (at least some advanced 10,15 or 100) , water source + industrial water purifier (60l/h).
Place your camp close to water source and some merchant (there is one nice place at Charleston train station). Build as many purifiers as you can power. Then on each visit of your camp collect purified watter – you will have plenty of it later = more than you need and at that time start selling it to local merchant.
Originaly I had only one purifier but around level 15 I was usually with about 70+ bottles of purified water so looked at possibility to sell some and for 3caps per one why not. So built some more purifiers and collect water on camp visit and sell to merchant. (usually visit camp for storing some stuff, upgrades etc… )

(ps my purifiers are not locked so if you walk around pick any water you find there…)
water farm
How to build water farm:
obtain these 2 plans
industrial water purifier – requies 10 power (either found it or purchase from some vendor)
fusion generator 100 power – I was able to purchase that from Graham (wandering super mutant merchant) – resources for building one can be gathered for examle if you join event powering Poseidon Power Plant
(easy event – 1 hour for kill a lot of scorched and fix all broken machinery and pipes – keep some rad-x and rad-away) – I was able to clear this event alone at 10level with revolver – dont forget to claim workshop and get some fusion cores)
then build as many water purifiers as you want…. (up to 10 if you do not have other services…)
