Sdemonnz’s Logitech G29 ?Real? feel (updated 04/01/17)

Overview

Updated 4 January 2017, I’ve been tinkering away with my FFB settings for the last while and keep adjusting things all the time :-/Here’s my latest G29 FFB settings. For all you Logitech G29 owners, here’s my ?Real? Feel* force feedback setup guide. I’m no expert at setting wheels up etc for sim-gaming, but after some trial and error I found that this set-up worked the best for me and gave me the best feel. There is some force feedback clipping – which some people may adjust to personal preference – but for me it just feels right!I would assume that this could also be used for the Logitech G920 as well. *Please note that you can adjust the FFB – “per car” in Raceroom, by going to “car setup, steering seetings” in there you will find a “FFB Multiplier” simply adjust this to get a better feeling for the car you are using.*?Real? Feel = I don’t know the real feel of driving the real versions of the beasts represented in Sector3’s Raceroom – therefore the reason for the ?

No Led’s – Get this

When I first installed the Logitech G29 wheel for use in Raceroom, the gear-change (rev) leads did work on the wheel. However after an update/patch of either Raceroom, or the Logitech Gaming Software they ceased to work.*

If your Leds dont work, and you want them to, I suggest you head over to the Fanaleds website and download their little application. Visit [link]

*Future patches may fix this issue.

I’ve kept this as simple as possible – I havent made a profile for buttons etc, just modified the “steering wheel” and “pedal” set as follows:

+ Sensitivity = 75%
+ Wheel operating Range = 900 degrees
+ Enable Centering Spring = OFF

Pedals – Axis Properties
+ Accelerator Sensitivity = 100%
+ Brake Sensitivity = 100%
+ Clutch Sensitivity = 100%

All other settings are user preferences.
