This guide will show you an order of DLC’s and misc. things to fully understand the story.
Story
Many people ask “when to play the DLC”, “what should I do to fully understand the story” so here I’m creating this guide about the story order
Before starting the story you can watch FFXV Platinum Demo, if you still have it on your console play it, it shows Noctis when he was a child
Next watch a FFXV Anime called Brotherhood, it takes ~1 hours to watch all the episodes
Next read a FFXV Novel [cdn.sqexeu.com] it takes place before Chapter 1 (start of the game), not many people know that this novel even exist
Play the game to Chapter 2, if you get to Chapter 2 watch FFXV Kingsglaive movie or watch it before starting the game story (but there are story spoilers if you didn’t reached Chapter 2)
Chapter 7 OR 8 – Episode Gladiolus
Chapter 12 OR 13 – Episode Prompto
Chapter 13 verse 2 – After Chapter 13 or when you finish the story
Episode Ardyn – After finishing the story
Episode Ignis – After finishing the story
Comrades – After finishing the story
