FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION Guide

Comrades Birthplace for FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION

Comrades Birthplace

Overview

A quick and sleazy screenshot showing stat difference between birthplaces on a level 99 character.

The only section 🙂

For starters, I have not done any testing whatsoever to see how much different the damage you deal or mitigate between the highest and lowest value on a specific stat.

Also bear in mind that these values are changed positively or negatively by sigils you equip.

So just use this as a simple reference to see the different stats a certain birthplace gives to a level 99 character – which is currently the maximum attainable.

The high quality patchwork image below was taken from a character without a sigil and only a stat-less level 1 bismirched blade equipped.

A quick note to those just starting a new game. Gralea and Tenebrae will not be available to you from the start. They are acquired end game where you have to fight two level 99 bosses separately. Once you get the key items, they are unlocked for new characters you create, or even your existing character but only on new game+.

Based on the values, Gralea would best benefit a melee tank build as it has the highest HP, STR and VIT. As for magic users, I would either go with Insomia which has the highest MAG or Tenebrae with the highest MP and 2nd highest MAG beit 200 pts lower on HP than Insomnia.

I was just curious to find out the difference and my query with good old google only pointed me to an old reddit post where I would assume 50 was the max attainable level at the time, and another site that only shows starting stats. Since I already went through the not so much trouble of loading backup saves to find out, I thought I’d share this not so much of a guide to the community.

Cheers!

EDIT

I’m moving on from FF15. I would’ve loved to keep Comrades at least if the devs made it stand alone so I could visit the game again in the future, but right now I could really use the disk space. As for this little experiment of mine, looking at my previous screenshots, the strength values on my character across 6 birthplaces is bloated by 20 points (for whatsoever reason) while the rest of the stats match with the information found here:

I took two new samples today to see if I could replicate the one’s found on the googlesheet above. Now the strength values match, but vitality is bloated by 20 pts, while all the other stats also match. I’m not really sure what is causing this, but regardless, IMHO, the hierarchy of which birthplace is best suited for which class should still be the same. Also the final additional boss seems to force players into a melee build, especially if you’re planning to do it solo.
