Conquest
This is the ‘standard’ game mode. Meant for 3v3 player matches. There is no options for AI in this mode.
Survival
NPCs keep spawning and you just see how long you can survive.
Under setting you can pick how many players.
When going in solo you can pick any thane any will have access to all buildings and units and be responsible for all roles.
2-3 players will put you in matchmaking to play with other people.
Skirmish
Similar to conquest but instead of facing real players you will fight AI.
1 V AI will let you play your role of choice and fill in the other 2 roles with AI allies
2 V AI will let you play your role of choice with a friend or a random player and fill the remaining roll with an AI
3 V AI will let you play your role of choice with 2 other real life people VS AI
SOLO will let you pick any thane and give you full control of all buildings/units (no AI allies)
DUO will let you play as either builder or miner. Not sure how fighter is controlled yet
