ATC textbar issue

Overview

The introduction

So, the issue you are facing was probably caused because you turned the networking feature on while scrolling through the Settings window. The networking feature disables the default ATC window and gives you that bloody text bar instead.

Sorting the issue out

You’ll need to complete the following steps:

1. Bring Settings up(in my case it can be done with the Ctrl+` shortcut);

   

2. Proceed to the Network tab

   
   You should have a registered multiplayer machine below the “Sending Data To” section(at least, I had it);

3. Then click the “Reset Networking Configuration” button located at the bottom left corner of the Settings window;

   

4. Confirm reset.

   

There you go; now the ATC window pops up as it should. The wretched text bar is gone 😀
