Basic Objective Guide for Completion

Overview

This guide gives you the basics of what is needed for you to escape your captor!

Basic Room/Item Guide

So because this game moves the objects needed to open doors, I won’t be able to specifically tell you WHERE a key is, but what I can tell you is what you need to escape. I haven’t yet found all of the lore/identity/victim items personally, but they’re not necessary for your escape, so I’ve not included their locations. You have two choices with this guide – You can either watch my complete speed-run below (~11mins in length) or scroll down and read what you need instead!

Complete list of items you need to find to escape:

  1. metallic pipe
  2. human bone
  3. rusty key
  4. golden key x 3
  5. electric fuse
  6. sharp nail x 4
  7. half-moon shaped object
  8. engraved medallion x 5 (these do not get placed into your inventory, but you need the digits on the other side of them)
  9. an old key
  10. an armored key

Room 1: Skeleton & Gnocci

To exit this room you need to find the metallic pipe and human bone. These are the only items that don’t move. You need to place the metallic pipe into the first leaking pipe in the room, and then the human bone into the second pipe after you’ve jumped up onto the first pipe by selecting it.

Room 2: Cellar Door

To exit this room you need to find a rusty key to open the door on the far end of the room. There may be other objects in this room like the sharp nail and golden key so keep an eye out for them. You can also find some info about the killer in this room.

Room 3: Three Golden Locks

This one is easy, just find the 3 golden keys. They will be located around the entire area, so look hard.

Room 4: Triangle Lock

This door is located in the room with the plants and the See-No-Evil, Hear-No-Evil, and Speak-No-Evil monkeys. To open this door you need to locate the poster showing the 4 triangle images. It moves around, but it’s easy to locate and will not be behind any other locked doors. Just copy the pattern shown in the right order to open this door.

Room 5: Child’s Room

This is hidden in a room opposite crucified Jesus. You need to click on the large table to be able to access it.

Room 6: Large Old Wooden Door

The key to this door is behind the Edgar Allen Poe painting in the main hallway. To open the safe behind the painting you need the half-moon shaped object and you need to have unlocked the Triangle Door as the poster which decifers the code is in the room behind that door.

Room 7: Electric Door

This door leads to the final room which contains the armored key you need to escape. To unlock this door you need to find the 5 engraved medallions which have numbers on the back of them. The location of these varies, but one is always located on the floor behind the 3-golden-key door, and one is always inside the bathroom area in the large cupboard on the floor. The rest move around, so keep your eyes open!

You also need the electrical fuse to open this door. Insert that into the large box to the right of the door itself, this turns on the keypad. Then enter in the numbers shown on the reverse side of the engraved medallions. The door will unlock.

Find the armored key inside this room and exit through Room 2 via the cellar door!
