Sandbox Maps Guide

Overview

You can’t choose which map fits your playstyle better? Don’t you worry! Here is a guide to show you raw resources for each and every sandbox map in base game and Map Pack DLC…

1. Introduction

Here we are! This guide will help you with the raw resources in sandbox maps. For now, it will include a couple of maps and I’m gonna add all the maps when I get them ready to publish. Hopefully, you will see all the raw resources each sandbox map has and maybe even DLC maps in future.

There are 7 different raw resources -actually it’s 6, but I think we can count Ancient Ruins as a raw resource- in the game. They are used for electricity, production, trading and even for tourism if we consider Ancient Ruins as a raw resource. Here is a complete list of raw resources you will face in game:

  • Ancient Ruins
  • Bauxite
  • Coal
  • Gold
  • Iron
  • Oil
  • Uranium

You will know when you see Ancient Ruins and Oil, but for the mining resources here is how you will know which one is what by looking the color of rock on top of them:

  • Bauxite → Grey
  • Coal → Black
  • Gold → Yellow
  • Iron → Red
  • Uranium → Brown
