Guardians of Orion (Phase 1) Guide

Quick Ion cash for Guardians of Orion (Phase 1)

Quick Ion cash

Overview

A pretty short, and possibly worthless guide to gaining Ion cash slightly quicker than usual…

Quick(ish) Ion income…

This here information provided below may not be correct as of 2.0, will need to look and see if this still works. (If i get my ar*e into gear to do it, xD)

Ever thought to yourself, “Damn, killing these dinos ain’t getting much Ion”…

Well, my fellow internetees (not sure if that is an actual name, but i don’t really care at the moment), simply go to the ‘Matchmaking’ tab in one of the hubs, select the ‘FFA’ gamemode, and choose what ever settings you like (connection zones, day/night, All/Steam friends/solo). Then simply start.

More than likely you will start by yourself, unless you’re in a party. During one of the many in-game gamemodes, known as ‘Scavange Hunt’ (if my memory serves me correctly…) you are tasked at going around and collecting/opening crates that spawn on that map that you are on (can be found with the beacon line, like for bonus chest in Harvest/survival).

Once the crate has been opened, you will recieve a nice and neat wad of dough, essentially, around 1000 to ~4000 ion (or possibly more)…

Was well as this, after each round that is played, except for Free play, you’ll earn a small amount of Trek points (ie First place = 10 Trek, 1 Player kills = 1 Trek, etc).

… Thats basically it. I have only been able to do FFA on Geode so far, so i don’t know if the in-game gamemodes will be different, but i expect that they are the same mode on all the maps.

Hopefully this will increase the amount of weight being put into you ion-filling wallets, unless you already knew about this, then … good for you, i suppose.

Anyway, enjoy this little, mainly (and possibly) cr*ppy guide to getting more cash just the little bit quicker.

I don’t own the image of the loot crate, as it rightfully belongs to Trek Industries
don’t think bad of me… Just looked cool…

Cookie?

cannot remember who cookie image belongs to, but you’ll find it on my other guide on how to drive more people around the maps in Orion: Prelude found here -> ‘Riding with friends
