Overview
If your like most people your steam screenshot button is probably F12 by default. By default Unreal 2 uses the F12 button to brighten your contrast and can’t be lowered, so if you’re trying to take a screenshot with Steam’s default screenshot key F12, it will undesirably brighten the contrast.
To Fix This..
Navigate to SteamsteamappscommonUnreal II The AwakeningSystem
Open user.ini with notepad
Find the line F12=BumpContrast
Remove “BumpContrast” to take screenshots correctly.
Find the lines for Brightness,Contrast and Gamma and use the default settings below to reset them in user.ini
Brightness=0.800000
Contrast=0.700000
Gamma=0.800000
