Easy way to remove chromatic aberration and depth of field.
How to disable
In the folder: C:Usersyour user nameAppDataLocalTheObserverSavedConfigWindowsNoEditor open up the Scalability file and paste this:
[PostProcessQuality@3]
r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0
r.SceneColorFringe.Max=0
r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0
Save and then make the file read-only.
I believe you need to have video quality settings on high or custom as well.
While the chromatic aberration definitely fits with the aesthetic of the game, i still chose to disable it during gameplay and for taking screenshots since it really helps clean up the image quality and lets you appreciate the what the artists created without all that distortion.
