First choose a party from the one already available or even create your own. You should take a little time to create your own party. Your party needs a name and the selectable color from the color selection. When you complete this, you will need the priorities and ideologies your party is building on. Finished? Great, now you can complete your political party work and start with the first day. (Your created parties are available in every country you select and available in every game, so if you choose another one, your created party that you’re not using will be controlled by a computer.)

Now you are in the game, you see the parliament in the middle of the game. The parliament is not yet occupied, as all parties are preparing for the elections of the citizens. Let’s see if your party has the most votes. The first step in achieving this is to start an interview with the newspaper, a TV channel or the radio. (Note that you only have limited capital for the beginning and throughout the game.) Now you can see in the bottom left of the game that your voter percentage is increasing and decreasing, depending on the day. It rises higher, you should start with an interview. So you get fast more percent and voters. Now just wait and see how many seats your party has in parliament. The higher the percentage, the higher the seats your party has. The seats your party has will change after each election, so it’s better to start advertising in interviews or the newspaper just before the elections.
