Gared

Disclaimer: All entries that say no effect exclude the role they play in customizing your character and the things that are important to that character.

Episode 1: Iron From Ice

Gared’s escape will have little effect but is more for characterization.

1.) Lady Forrester will ask you about Rodrik. (Player response has no effect)
2.) Lady Forrester will ask about her husband. (Player response has no effect except you get another opportunity to reveal Lord Gregor’s secret and show off the sword again.)

The sword is presented no matter the choice so I recommend going with one of the other choices. (Like he said he loved you. This choices is a lie but very kind of Gared.)

Gared’s Exile
Gared can defend his action or show regret. He will be banished to the Wall and nothing changes this decision. Royland will defend Gared.
1.) Gared can blame his attackers or question the Ramsay is coming. (No effect)
2.) Play it smart with Duncan or demand revenge. (Duncan will remeber you supporting him, but will he be Ethan’s sentinel. Royland will respect Gared for being strong.)
3.) Play it smart and protect the house or hold on to your want for vengence. (No true effect.)
4.) You can accept your fate or extent to one more dialogue branch. (5 should only appear if you choose anything other than I’ll go.)
5.) You accept your fate to protect them or insist to stay. (Duncan will not forget your bravery if you accept your fate.)

The North Grove
Gared could keep Gregor’s secret to this point. (Duncan will be proud.)
