Weapons

Ram And Grand-Ram

Rams are used to increase the damage inflicted when ramming, as well as reduce or eliminate incoming damage from the ram. When ramming you have to hit with the ram, which can be tricky, especially if the enemy is aware of your tactic. Also note that the rams are considerably heavy, so it is best to make a small and slim ship capable of moving quite quickly
(Pictures coming sometime)

Good against : All

Good: Negates damage from ramming

Bad: Hard to use on land ships
____________________________________________________________________________

Rifles

Quite simply, a room with a manned rifle in it. These have a fantastic rate of fire, a somewhat big arc of fire and are good against exposed enemy crew. While they do good damage against wood it might take sometime to get through stone and heavier armor/plating.

Good against:Wood/simple steel

Good: Simple, cheap, and effective

Bad against: Stone + Heavier steel

Bad: No real power, and most armor can shrug it off
____________________________________________________________________________

Cannon + Heavy Cannon

Your basic armament, cannons can deal good damage against the more medium armors, but take up a bit more space and have a somewhat lower rate of fire.

The Heavy cannon is SUPER DUPER effective against all kind of armor. However it must be noted that they are considerably heavier and have an even slower rate of fire.

Good against: Wood/Stone/Steel.

Good: Range

Bad: Slow rate of fire
____________________________________________________________________________

Anti Air/Flaks

These stations are simply a must have in your buildings, they are for shooting up at flying targets made of wood/stone.
Also useful in your low altitude ships for defence against bombers or high altitude craft.

Good against: Wood/Stone

Good: Can shoot straight up, and damages simple steel

Bad: Can only engage units that are above it
____________________________________________________________________________

Flamethrower/Granades

Flamethrowers are quite effective against wooden targets, and also quite scary, however do take a considerable amount fo time to chew through the enemy.
Grenades are small and simple, with a interesting area of attack. Notably they also take a while to reach thier target proving to be difficult and might take sometime to get through the enemy hull.

Good Against: Wood, immobile targets

Good: Simple, small, and cost effective

Bad Against: Stone + Steel

Bad: Limited range
____________________________________________________________________________

Suspendium cannon

Imagine yourself with a heavy blaster from star wars, which works with coal…
While it may have a small radius and huge, i highly reccommend this for snipers and quick flankers to deal huge damage. Be warned it chews through coal

Good against: Armors that cannot take piercing damage (stone/steel etc)

Good: Large damage, and long range

Bad Against: Wood

Bad: Uses a lot of resources and really big
____________________________________________________________________________

Bombs

Bombs are great on high flying ships and are used to deal massive damage to buildings and low ships!

Good Against: Wood/Stone

Good: Attacks directly under, great damage

Bad Against: Heavy Steel armor

Bad: Can be dodged, most units on or near the ground have heavy armor
____________________________________________________________________________

Gattling Guns

Gattling guns are extremely fast firing weapons that are great against personel/massed infantry!

Good Against: People,wood

Good: Chews through anything not tied down, massive piercing damage

Bad Against: Stone

Bad: Also chews through ammo
____________________________________________________________________________

Deck guns,vertical turrets/dorsal turrets, etc.

-Deck Guns

While unprotected these cannons have a large range of firing, more rate of fire.

Good against: Wood/Stone

Good: Great arc, rof, and doesnt chew through ammo still

Bad: Not protected, at all

Vertical/Dorsal turrets

Very much like the heavy cannons with a +180 degree arc going up/down but be warned, you can not build lower than where these are.

Good against:Stone/Steel(Wood)

Good: Great cannons, great arc, great damage

Bad: Slower rate of fire, odd placement, as well as hinders further construction

Planned building.

Step 1. Do a design on paper and/or think is it going to small or bigger.
Step 2. Start off with a coal supply continue to suspendium chambers and engines.
Step 3. Build water stations near your coal areas, as these tend to catch fire.
Step 4. Add quarters for your crew and add bride/cockpit to command your ship.
Step 5. Get some supply hatches for your ship.
Step 6. Get ammo storages with additional water systems (these explode when ignited)
Step 7. Weapons! Make sure they are close to ammo as it affects reload time

Finishing the building/structure ship etc..

Tips & Tricks

  • Remember to have marines in your ship to defend/attack the enemy ships!
  • Do not forget to take evasive action!
  • Remember to add a few flak cannons onto top of your ship/Building!
  • Play Conquest(Campaign) to get smarter, it’s really tough!
  • You Can Ram the enemy ship to destroy its modules/buildings or even pin it to the terrain (Same goes for buildings)!
  • Always put firepoints near you coal and ammo! These will catch on fire when damaged enough, and can destroy your entire ship if you do not have fire points or fire extinguishers.
