How To Build Working Tank Tracks Without Mods In Besiege

Overview

This is a guide on how to build working tank tracks without mods or besiege edit.

Introduction

In Besiege, everything is possible with mods. But what about without them? I spent hours to find out a way to make a working tank without mods or besiege edit, and this is what you will see now. Im sorry if you already know this or this guide does not appeal to you.

Building

First, lets build a small body. Put 3 pistons outward on the front and back of the starting cube and then set all the pistons to toggle mode. This helps from keeping the tracks from sagging.

Then put steering hinges like shown so the tank can pivot.

Now put on some wheels. (I prefer the big ones because it is easier to build tracks on them)

Time for the tracks. Put one hinge on top of the back wheel and then put 3 hinges back.

Remove all the hinges except for the one on the tip.

Put hinges from that tip hinge until your hinges are 2 past the top conection point of the front wheels.

Now put a regular wheel on the front connection point of the front wheels. Then put a block (Preferable wooden block) on that wheel connected to the main wheels.

Now remove the regular wheel attached to the main wheel. After that, put another regular wheel on top of the wooden block.

Now build two wooden blocks up on top of the wheels (Not the double wooden block, 2 regular small wooden blocks)

Remove everything beneath the top wooden block and the front hinge on the top tracks.

Build 4 hinges down from the wooden block.

Remove the wooden block and then connect the hinges by putting the front hinge back on.

Now remove the most bottom hinge.

Build a hinge off the bottom connection point of the front wheels and then build 3 more hinges going forwards.

Like the top tracks, remove all the hinges except the tip one, build until the bottom track has 2 hinges past the bottom connection point of the back wheels, and then remove the hinge on the tip (The hinge facing the other way)

Now build one hinge down from the front tracks to connect to the bottom tracks.

Now to build the back tracks. Like the front tracks, you must first remove the hinge on the tip of the bottom tracks. Then you must build a regular wheel off of the back connection point of the back wheels. Then build a wooden block connected to the regular wheel. After that, remove the wheel, and then put a wheel on the wooden block facing downwards. Finally, build 2 wooden blocks off of the wheel facing downwards. (Once again, not a double wooden block)

Remove all the pieces above the tip of the wooden block.

Build hinges up from the wooden block until in connects with the top tracks, remove the wooden block, and then finally complete your tracks by connecting your bottom track with your back track. And there you have it, a non-modded or besiege editted tank!

Conclusion

That is how you build a non-modded tank in besiege! Once again, sorry to those who already knew this or found this to be unappealing. If you liked this guide, please leave a like or a comment! Also if you have any questions, just ask! Check out my workshop creations too! [link]
