Overview
Sick of engineers digging into your base??? Well then try this method of keeping them from doing it!
Step 1
Start of by digging one tile downwards along the back
Step 2
Remember to dig out the bits in between the pillars otherwise you may have problems with them darn humans, remember one tile downwards to start off with
Step 3
Then once you have done that (or at the same time as doing the other steps) you want to start digging one tile downward along the side

Step 4
Start digging downwards again so it will be two tiles/blocks deep on all sides (basically repeat step 1 and 2, in other words you will be making it 2 tiles deep instead of 1 tile deep)
Step 5
Thats it! Enjoy your engineer free life! Warning this method may not work for certain spawns due to the terrain either being dodgy or uneven. This method wasnt as effective for me….
All you need to do is light up a large area around your spaceship/base and station aliens on the roof and the side bits of the spaceship/base
This works alright due to the area being lit up so at night your troops on the roof with be able to spot them and get a aim bonus due to the area being lit up (only at night) and also having the high ground.
