How to handle gangs and/or rid of them

Overview

In this guide I will describe to you the best tactics in handling gangs as well as a way to remove them legitimately.

Disabling the gang hi-com

Handling gangs is all about early detection, you want to stop them as soon as they get a leader. Not doing this will result in the leader assigning lieutenants who will be his henchmen and all the real issues with gangs will start, you want to avoid this right?

Handling the leader

Slam him in the super-max block,but since leaders often come in early in you’re prison you may not have a super-max block so i’ll tell you how you handle him.

Assigning to supermax

Up his security to supermax and then try to restrict him as much as possible from the general population’s schedule, For example making his eating time during lockup for genpop. If he does misconduct, simply end his punishments or risk fights/deaths (even riots if gang is big enough).

Handling his right hand man, the lieutenants

Assign him supermax, then put him on perm lockdown or spam 24 hour lockdowns so he’ll stay in his cell. End his punishments when you have a supermax block.

Gang captures

I’ll give you a very easy way to disrupt and end any gang captures that happen. Just send every single one of the gangsters currently capturing the area to lock-down for 6 hours With this tactic the current capture will be interrupted and the gangsters won’t be too angry about needs,but they will still keep trying to capture areas as long as they have a lieutenant that is in genpop.

Removing gangs

Only one way exists to remove gangs legitimately and that’s through ENEMY GANGS. You’ll rather have them kill each-other then kill you’re guards right? I recommend that you have a controlled prison as you WILL run into the death limit if the gangs are large enough,which they probably are.

Step 1 Let the lieutenants of 2 separate gangs into genpop

You know where I am going with this one :). If possible try to temp remove all but one big common room.

Step 2 – Monitoring the lieutenants

Moniter the lieutenants very carefully, if they attempt to recruit member, put them on lockdown for six hours.

Step 3 Setting the stage

Create more freetime for prisoners as this will encourage gang business to occur, Also remove snipers from yards and lessen patrols in common rooms/yards.

Step 4 Pre-Confrontation

At this point the gangs want to capture the common room or the yard. If the gangs capture different places as mentioned earlier, lockdown all of them of 6 hours.
When they are contesting a single area,pause the game asap and move to step 5/4a

Step 5 Confrontation

Let as many gang members in the area as possible and remove every single guard from the area. Once everyone is inside the area or they start fighting early swiftly lock down all the doors leading to the area then sit back,relax and eat that popcorn. Once they’re done or if you had enough move to step 6

Step 6 Aftermath

Gather as many guards and armed guards as you can, enable freefire and open the doors. The armed guards will finish them off. You’re done after that and be extremely careful in the next 24 hrs due to too many deaths.
