1st way to solve the problem
you can save and reload the prison but it can get annoying after a while. it doesn´t helps long but atleast they doing the work again.
2nd way to get it fixed
the best way to fix it is to make a bigger way/hallway. it may cost more money and space, but it helps forever. Try instead of 1x???: 2x??? or 3x???. it does the job perfectly and you have less problems then before.
