I felt like most of the other guides are too long so this is going to be a quick and to the point guide.

First off
I am not a designer,writer,coder or anything like that. I am a gamer. I play games I buy them I download demos. So if there are spelling errors or puncuation errors im sorry. I have never made a guide or any thing like this so if i screw up its a begginers mistake. Take it easy. hope this helps!
Starting Off
After building a simple prison make shure that
*Your Canteen and kitchen are seperated to avoid knive theft.
*Your utilities are in a simple efficent format with each Laundry,Workshop,Cell Block and Canteen etc having a electrical and water shutoff.
**If you can afford it metal detectors are very helpfull i’ve had new arrivals come in with Guns,hammers,hoses,spoons,forks,hedge clippers
Building your prison
While building a prison you must keep in mind that prisoners arrive at 8 am on day 2 so your prison must have A shower, canteen/kitchen, holding cell, rec activities. I reccomend putting beds in the holding cell as to give you more time to make a cell block. To make a cell block i reccomend a 12 wide by multiple of four for a double walk. To make a building find the foundation tool along the bottom then drag to the desired size. Remember to use a door appropite for the building (eg. dont use a normal door for you prison exit) and make shure that it is in a spot where it will help the flow of prisoners (or slow them for near exits of prison)
