Overview
There’s something about a tango’s body disappearing within seconds that takes away from the experience of Doorkickers 2. Here’s how you can modify a configuration file to make sure they do not despawn.
Navigate to DK2’s options.xml file and add keepDeadBodies=”true”
Open a new Windows Explorer window and locate the following file path:
C:Users<username>AppDataLocalKillHouseGamesDoorKickers2options.xml
If the “AppData” folder does not appear in your “User” folder, then you need to make hidden
folders visible. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to the “View” tab at the top of your Windows Explorer window. Click on it.
- Navigate to the “Show/hide” column. Here you will see a checkbox that with the text “hidden items”
- Put a check in the “hidden items” box. The AppData folder will now appear in your User folder.
Now that you have been able to open the file in your preferred text editor, such as Notepad or Sublime Text, edit the line that contains keepDeadBodies=”false” to keepDeadBodies=”true“. Don’t forget to save the file. Next time you start the game the changes will take effect.
