Overview
Want to turn on God mode? Unlock an achievement? Unlock a turntable model?This guide will tell you how to do all of the above and more in a few simple steps!
How to Unlock Everything!
All you need to do is:
- Navigate to the following path or paste it into Windows Explorer address bar and hit enter:
%userprofile%AppDataLocalLowN_Fusion InteractiveDeus Ex_ The Fall
(The exact path may vary depending on your Windows version and installation location.) - Use a text editor like Notepad to open the PlayerPrefs.txt file.
- Search the PlayerPrefs.txt file for occurances of the word False and change them to True (or vice versa) for whatever you want to unlock such as achievements, turntable models, New Game+, auto aim etc. You can even modify character stats like kills, hacks, augmentations purchased etc. All the info is stored in the PlayerPrefs.txt file.
- Save the file and launch Deus Ex: The Fall!
Changes to Steam achievements should take effect after at least going through a level changing loading screen.
God Mode
To unlock God mode, make the following changes to the PlayerPrefs.txt file.
From: PurchasedGodMode : False
To: PurchasedGodMode : True
Now there will be an option to turn God mode on or off in the game’s options menu. Once God mode is on, Ben still takes damage from some sources, but his health never goes all the way down to zero.
To only turn God mode on:
From: GodMode : False
To: GodMode : True
Once you start or load a game after using this method, god mode will stay on for that save even if you change it back to False in the PlayerPrefs.txt file. As far as I know, the only way to turn it off is to change the PurchasedGodMode value to true so the option to turn off God mode will appear in the game’s options menu.
