Guide to Bonus Goals

Overview

I have compiled the bonus goal clues for each level along with an explanation for each one.I hope it helps. :3

Introduction

Most levels in Gardens Inc. give a bonus goal clue in the bottom right corner. Completing this goal correctly nets you bonus cash when you complete the level.
On the map screen, a blue ribbon will be shown on your gold/silver/bronze trophy if the bonus goal for that level has been completed successfully. On levels where there is no bonus goal, no blue ribbon is shown.

The little bubble next to the clue in the bottom right corner has three different colours.
A clear bubble means the bonus goal still needs to be completed.
The bubble turns green once the bonus goal has been completed.
The bubble turns red if you screw up and do something that will prevent you from satisfying the goal.

Bonus Goals

Chapter 1 – There is no bonus goal.

Chapter 2 “This garden’s owner likes ordered plants.”
Plant a red flower with the red flowers and a yellow flower with the yellow flowers.

Chapter 3“What is this owner’s favourite plant pattern?”
Plant the flowers in a checkered pattern.

Chapter 4“Blue & white flowers. No more! No less!”
Plant the same amount of blue flowers as white flowers.

Chapter 5“Flowers in a group should have similar colors.”
The ‘groups’ are the 3 flowers in the top left, the 2 below them, and the 2 to the right. Alternatively, plant only yellow flowers to make your life easier.

Chapter 6“You can only use two types of flowers.”

Chapter 7“A hard labyrinth should have many identical areas.”
Making the two areas symmetrical does not work. I suggest making all flowers the same colour.

Chapter 8“What plant pattern would fit this hotel?”
Make the top row of flowers yellow and the bottom row red to match the striped motel sign.

Chapter 9“Can one colour fit all plants?”
Plant only yellow flowers.

Chapter 10“A pair for each tree. The symmetry.”
On the upper level, there are 2 trees; one in each corner. Ensure the 2 flowers next to them are the same colour. Alternatively, make all flowers the same colour to make your life easier.

Chapter 11“A match made in ghost town.”
The bushes must be all the same colour, and the trees must be all the same colour.
Alternatively, make all plants yellow to make your life easier.

Chapter 12“The middle one is always different.”
For each set of 3 flowers, the ones on the outside must be the same colour, but the middle one a different colour.

Chapter 13 – There is no bonus goal.

Chapter 14“Show them all you’ve got.”
Use every type of plant you can at least once.

Chapter 15“Not allowed; same flowers next to each other.”

Chapter 16“Think about stripes.”
All flowers in the top row must be one colour, and all flowers in the bottom row another colour.

Chapter 17 – There is no bonus goal.

Chapter 18“Create a symmetry”
All 4 trees must be the same colour, and the 2 bushes must be the same colour.

Chapter 19“Keep the closest ones coherent.”
Trees in the same group must be the same colour. I presume the groups are the 3 trees at the top, the two to the left and the two to the right. Alternatively, plant just one colour tree to make life easier.

Chapter 20“Plant an even number of each flower used.”
Easiest way is to make all trees one colour, and make all bushes one colour.

Chapter 21“Four sections, each with two.”
Each island has to have 2 different colours of flowers on it.

Chapter 22“East and west. Two different cultures.”
Flowers on the right should be one colour, and flowers on the left a different colour.

Chapter 23“Similarities attract each other.”
The plants in each group must be the same colour. The groups are surrounded by yellow pegs. Alternatively, plant only red flowers to make your life easier.

Chapter 24“Use everything you can.”
Plant at least one of every flower type available.

Chapter 25“Every island has a different name and …?”
Pick one flower colour for each island.

Chapter 26“Mix up the crowd, will ya!”
Do not plant the same colour flower side by side.

Chapter 27“3, 6, 9, 12, 15: What do they have in common?”
The 3 trees on the island must be 1 colour, and the 3 other trees must be another colour.

Chapter 28“It’s an odd garden…”
Make sure you don’t plan an even number of any plant colour. For example, 3 white bushes, 3 blue trees, 1 yellow tree and 1 red tree.

Chapter 29 – There is no bonus goal.

Chapter 30“The outside is always different from the inside.”
The four plants in the centre must be one colour, and the other four plants another colour.

Chapter 31“Welcome to the beach; home of the exotic islands.”
The flowers on the islands cannot be the same as any of the flowers on the mainland.

Chapter 32“Break the mirror.”
The flowers on either side of the pool cannot be in the same order to mirror eachother.

Chapter 33“Two by two by two by two.”
Plant flower colours in pairs.

Chapter 34“A pair is a not winning combination.”
Two flowers side by side cannot be the same colour.

Chapter 35“0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10: they are the answer!”
Make sure there is an even number of each colour plant. It’s easiest to make all plants 1 colour.

Chapter 36“Don’t hold anything back!
Plant at least one of every flower type.

Chapter 37“The south team! The north team!”
The top and the bottom should have different flower colours.

Chapter 38“Time to be economic.”
Plant only one colour of each type of flower.

Chapter 39“A theme is what is required to win.”
Plant only red flowers.

Chapter 40“How similar are the two gardens?”
The yards cannot contain the same flowers.

Chapter 41“The path must act as a mirror.”
The 3 flowers on the right must be yellow to match the golden cat statues. The statues do not need to be built to complete the goal.

Chapter 42“Here’s your clue; it’s 6 o’clock.”
Plant the same flowers everywhere except the bottom one.

Chapter 43“The world is so colorful.”
Plant at least one of each plant type.

Chapter 44“This place could use a bit of warmth.”
Plant red and yellow flowers.

Chapter 45 – There is no bonus goal.

Chapter 46“This garden has to be uneven.”
Plant odd numbers of each plant.

Chapter 47“Just one color is required.”

Chapter 48“Three stripes are needed.”
Plant 3 rows of colours, 2 flowers each.

Chapter 49“The same, yet different.”
In one section plant pink and purple flowers, in another section plant yellow and white flowers and in the last section plant red flowers.

Chapter 50 – There is no bonus goal.
