Overview

My Alpha Strike Psyker build, because as the Eldar Warp Spider’s would say “A fast strike in… and out”.

Intro

This is my Alpha Strike Psyker it is based around hitting hard, fast, and first. Kill as many as you can in the first strike and the rest is easy. So lets begin.

Skills

Your skills would be based around AoE damage. So take every skill in the AoE tree as it is all needed, as seen below.

You also need the skills seen below in the Psychic Combat tree.

After those are taken, the rest is really about preference. You will have very low suppresion resist and a single bump at this point can kill your buffs (more on this in the spells segment).

Gear

Your gear should be like seen in the picture below.
You need Warpbound Armor, a Psychic Focus, and a Pryokenetic Staff as primary, as secondary you want 2 one-handed weapons. Preferibly a sword and pistol.

You main stat focus would be on additional damage to Pyromancy spells.

Spells

Spells should be as follows;

The main Hand Buffs;

Warp Speed for the increased staff use.

Devine Shot for the damage boost on the first hit.

And levitation for a bit faster movement speed.

The secondary buffs;

If you want to use Firey Form you can but it shouldn’t be needed in normal play. Though it does benifit from the AoE skills so it is an optional use.

The Death Augury can be a life saver. Don’t know why any one wouldn’t equip this as a Psyker.

The Telekine Dome is more of a precautionary mesure to prevent death. As you have very low amounts of damage you can take.

Your main attacks;

Firestorm as your main ‘Alpha Strike’ attack

And Haemorrhage as your secondary ‘Alpha Strike’ attack.

A word of caution. Watch your suppresion level, at the curent time of making this guide there is a known bug that if you get the slightest nudge, push or knockback all buffs will be removed.

Perks and Attributes

For the Attributes you want at least 10 in Psy Focus. The rest can go in the other 2 trees at your personal taste requires. I have mine set up as seen here.

Your Perks will be;

Psychic Boon for longer lasting buffs.

Unfettered Maneuevring for faster movement again.

And Anointment for the damage boost.

The play

The playstyle is quite simple.
1: Keep your main buffs going at all times. as with the extended durration the cooldown is shorter than their lasting time.

2: Target closest to the center of each group before they break, with either the Fire Storm or Haemorrhage and they all will pop. The rest can be cleaned up with the staff attack.

Summary

When you get the hang of the build you will be able to take on the biggest groups with no problem. Almost never die. And have a fun time with the Psyker.
