Gamepad Fixes for Spyro™ Reignited Trilogy

Gamepad Fixes

Overview

How to fix various controller related issues in Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Camera is too slow

There’s no in-game gamepad camera sensitivity setting, and the camera movement is painfully slow by default.

Press WinKey + R, copy & paste the following address string: %localappdata%FalconSavedConfigWindowsNoEditor

Now find the Input.ini file, it’s empty by default. Copy & paste the following code:

[/script/engine.inputsettings] AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName=”Gamepad_RightX”,AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.250000,Sensitivity=1.750000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False)) AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName=”Gamepad_RightY”,AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.250000,Sensitivity=1.250000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))

This will increase the right stick horizontal sensitivity by 75% and vertical by 25%, this felt perfect to me but feel free to toy with the numbers until you’re satisfied.

Spyro only walks in 4 directions

When you lightly tilt the left stick Spyro’s movement snaps to 4 diagonal directions instead of being able to use all 8.

Go to Big Picture Mode -> Library -> Spyro Reignited Trilogy -> Manage Game -> Controller Configuration -> Left Stick -> Additional Settings, then increase “Dead Zone Inner” by 5 notches.
