A guide on how to make all 70 of Bug Fables (sometimes bizarre) recipes.
Getting the Goods
To start, you’ll need to get all your ingredients. Most of them can be obtained as drops from monsters, but ALL of them can be bought instead with much less effort. Here is a list of every shop important for completing your recipe log.
Please note before starting that making food then selling it for profit is a bad idea, you can just put all your money in the bank then take a nap with the game open. You’ll wake up with hundreds of berries in your bank.
Madame Butterfly’s Shop
Location: Ant Kingdom City (commercial area)

Bugaria Outskirts Caravan

Location: Golden Settlement

Location: Termite Capitol (Right of the Colosseum entrance)

Skirby’s Shop
Location: Metal Island
Items: Tangy Berry – 40 berries
Dark Cherry Merchant
Location: Doppel’s bar (Examine the bottle cap behind Madame Butterfly’s shop, must complete the “Requesting Assistance” quest to get entry, appears after chapter 4)
Items: Dark Cherry – 50 berries
There are also a few cooked items that can also be used as ingredients, here they are with their recipes and use as well:
Ice Cream (Magic Ice + Aphid Dew), used to make Honey Ice Cream if you want to waste money
Plain Tea (Crunchy Leaf + Clear water), used to make Spicy Tea and Burly Tea
Spicy Bomb (Hard Seed + Spicy Berry), used to make various bomb items
Abomihoney (Honey Drop + Honey Drop), used to make the Abombination (may require completing the “I want to get better!” quest)
Glazed Honey (Honey Drop), used to make a Crisbee Donut
Tangy Carapaccio (Tangy Berry), used to make Queen’s Dinner (Must complete the “My Specialty” quest)
Crisbee Donut (Glazed Honey + Bag of Flour), used to make Queen’s Dinner (Must complete the “I Wanna Get Better!” quest)
How to Cook
Now that you have all the items for cooking (or at least know where to get them), we can actually start cooking. There are four areas where you can cook in game, most of them have a unique recipe only they can cook. You give up one or two of your items, and they will be made into a possibly better item. Here is every area where you can cook:

Location: Termite Capitol (Dome Hotel 2F)
The microwave has no specialty, because it’s a microwave, not a chef
There are a few other chefs throughout the game, like the pier frycook and Kut’s master, but they won’t cook for you.
