A Guide for AVGN Characters for Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures

A Guide for AVGN Characters

Overview

This guide will tell you what the character’s abilities do, and how or when I think you should use them.(Not a guide on where to find them)

Intro

There are a couple unlockable characters in AVGN Adventures, and elaborate ways to find them. I wont tell you how to get them, I’ll tell you how to use them. If you wanted secrets this guide wont do much for you.

The AVGN

The Angry Video Game Nerd is the default/stock character you play as in the game. Out of all the characters, he also has a special ability that might get overlooked. He can aim in 8 different directions, which the other characters cant do. as well as he has the average speed and jump height, Which makes him an overall rounded out character to play as and adaptable to most situations. As well as the addition to aim in all directions, he is the only one who can use the Super Scope, The powerup to the nerd’s Nintendo Zapper. It rips apart anything you can imagine, even fred ♥♥♥♥♥ himself. It’s always advisable to pick it up when you can, but dont switch characters or else it will go away.

Guitar Guy

Guitar guy is the first hidden character you can get, hidden in “Future ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2010” behind his signature couch. His special Ability is shooting through walls, which he does with soundwaves that move in a wave pattern. His character stats include a lessened jump height and faster movement speed.

Mike Matei

Mike Matei is one of my personal favorites, he has an increased jump height and air time, but almost no downside. His only downsides are that he does decreased damage, and has a Melee attack, His LightSword. This means it is much more advisable to stay away from live combat with mike, as he cannot move in the few moments of swinging his sword. its better to leave the guitar guy or AVGN to do so, as they can move when they shoot. Mike’s special ability is to see hidden objects, like fake walls that he can cut down or invisible blocks which can aid you in finding secrets.

*Mike using hidden blocks to reach a secret

I recommend using him or his attack when there are few or lots of low health enemies you need to get through, and any parkour at all is better with him.

Mike Matei is unlocked in Dungeons and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (Guitar guy needed)

B.S. Man

The B.S. Man is the most powerful of the 4 characters you can play as, he does increased damage, and has the specialty of a double jump. But in my eyes his movement and jump height penalty make him almost not worth playing unless in a boss scenario, or a high health enemy. (Like the snowmen in Blizzard of Balls) Hes not really playable for anything but that, like parkour.

B.S. Man is unlocked in “Beat it & Eat it”
