Menu lag, glitched textures, performance fix

Menu lag (1 FPS), hard to navigate fix. Textures appear/disappear in game fix, performance fix.

Hogs of War steam fix (2020-06-26):

(copy link or open and change “_com” to “.com”)

In Steam library right mouse click on “Hogs of War” Properties>Local Files>Browse Local Files…
And transfer files from “Hogs of War steam fix <version>.rar” to “HogsofWar” folder.

Change for “HOWMenu.exe” and “warhogs_.exe“
Right mouse click on .exe properties and change:

ALT+F4 now working
ALT+TAB still problem (after alt+tab Win lock, you can exit with Win+D, Alt+F4 select [Sign Out] and re-login)

Videos fix

No videos (FMV) in game fix.

HogsofWar videos fix.bat:

You can download “HogsofWar videos fix.bat”, run (as admin) and just wait till is done and exit.

Or you can enable yourself in your PC go to

Legacy Components>DirectPlay.

Music fix (optional)

No music in game fix.

Open downloaded .zip file and install “_inmm238.exe” to game folder (eg.: “C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonHogsofWar”).

Open “_inmmcnf” and in method tab change:
default [DirectShow]

Press OK.
Now drag and drop “HOWMenu.exe” file to _inmmcnf.exe, press OK.
Drag and drop “warhogs_.exe” file to _inmmcnf.exe, press OK.
