Overview
This guide will detail the keypad you can find on the Abyss map, and everything I have found out about it.
Introduction
This guide will be detailing everything I know about the keypad (image below) found on the Abyss map, as well as what other people have told me about it, what codes I have tried, the connection it may have to lore and other secrets, and maybe more.

Properties
I will now list everything I know about the keypad’s properties, it’s functionality, sounds, etc.
——————————————————————————————————-
- It is part of the wall and thus carries these properties:
- It cannot be: moved, damaged, attached to anything, shot, interacted with by humans/androids, resized, powered, or deleted by a black hole.
- This may be obvious to some, but it cannot be disabled by the EMP explosive, or electrified by the Stormbaan gun.
- A red light will turn on for the same amount of time it was turned off, every second or so.
- You can input any number, ranging from 0 – 9 (however, the buttons are not labeled and there is no “Enter” key) with a maximum of 14 numbers input.
- When you input 14 digits, it will show “Checking~” in very light blue text where the numbers were previously displayed, and then after around 0.750 seconds, it will flash “Incorrect” in yellow text 3 times, before returning to normal.
- Note: The red light seems to always be on when “Incorrect” is displayed, but this may just be bad timing on my part.
- It emits sounds only when you fail to input the correct code (and maybe when you get the correct code, if it exists) and when you input a number.
- You press the keys by left clicking on them, and no other buttons work to do this.
- It is relatively small, being about the width of a plate, and square in shape.
- You can press buttons and see text on the keypad through every object (yes, I mean every; I tested) and black holes, and even press buttons while the game is paused.

Wasn’t that was a long, and incoherent list? in case it was, here are some images that will better help visualize some of what I just listed.
Keypad with red light on.
Keypad with 14 digits input (only visible for a small amount of time after inputting all 14 digits)
Keypad with “Checking~” displayed in very light blue text.
Keypad with “Incorrect” displayed in yellow text.
Keypad with some objects next to it for scale.
Keypad with a normal sized gun for scale.
Black hole on top of the keypad, showing it’s indestructibility and it’s ability to display text through anything.
Purpose
The possible purpose of this keypad is not clear, and i’m not the best at theorizing, but i’m going to try to explain what this is, and why it may be here.
——————————————————————————————————-
It has clearly had a lot of effort put into it, having it’s own sounds, emitting light, and having it’s own textures. This, logically, means that it must be important, and may lead to a secret achievement, a secret level, a new item (similar to Inverse Teleportation giving you a Normal Sized Gun.), or maybe activate/change something in one of the current levels. It also may be completely useless or just have an obvious answer from an older easter egg that we somehow missed. (but, I think this is highly unlikely.) This likely also fits into the lore of this being a facility, considering it is dead center in a background wall panel, next to a wall. If this is open-able, it may lead to a very very very messed up room. Let me elaborate.
——————————————————————————————————-
In the files, you can find a sound file called DAVID_APPLE. I have not listened to it myself, but according to other people, it sounds like horrific screaming. My theory is that this keypad leads to the source of these sounds, as a top-secret entrance to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up room/lab/factory/whatever that only the person with the code should see. My other theory is less morbid, but maybe a bit more far-fetched.
——————————————————————————————————-
You read that right. My secondary theory is that this keypad, so hard to crack and impossible to hack, (hey, that rhymed!) IS so hard to crack because it leads to the outside, if there is one. This makes sense to me because of some math I did.
To find how many possible inputs a lock, or anything, can have, you take the number of inputs each “slot” can have, and exponent that by how many “slots” there are. Let’s take a look at an example.
A 2 digit lock with 2 digits input would have 4 possible codes. (11, 12, 21, 22)
a 2 digit lock with 10 digits input would have 100 possible codes.
a 4 digit lock with 9 digits input would have 6,561 possible codes (these locks are common.)
a 14 digit lock with 10 digits input (which is what the keypad is) would have 10x10x10x10x10x 10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10 possible codes, or, in other words, 1e+14 possible codes, or, in other other words, 100,000,000,000,000 possible codes. That is one hundred trillion possible codes you could put into this thing. Whatever is behind this must be important, and they wouldn’t want anything getting out, would they?
What is the Code?
The code to this keypad may be hidden somewhere we have not found yet, it may be obvious and I just have not found it yet, it may not exist, etc. But, for your sake, I will list EVERY SINGLE CODE I have tried, that isn’t explicitly obvious (ex: I will not list 00000000000000 as a code I tried.) and, I will be updating this section with more ideas for possible codes that I come up with, as time goes on.
Known Incorrect Codes
As I said, I will now list every code I have tried, and I will try to credit everyone who gives me codes to try.

Credits
Everyone go read this guide, it inspired me to make my own (honestly I half did it just to give more steam points to the creator)
[link]Thanks to my friend Neal for giving me codes, even though he doesnt own this game.
Thank you to everyone who has given this a reward, you have given me a total of 600 steam points. I didn’t actually expect to get any, but thank you!
Big boi thanks to:

Thank you for reading this guide, even though it’s my first, and ill try to keep it updated and respond to everything im asked (even if it is a late response)
Bye!
New Information
Currently, I do not have any new info, except for that I tried to get into the files and listen to some things, and I couldn’t find any sound files.
The Code Has Been Found
Credit to Zachary, a friend of mine. He gave me the code.
I will leave you with these images, and will not tell you the second step. The second step also is very cryptic and does not give you an achievement. I’m working on deciphering it.
