The Cutternians History – ₵

Cutternians are humanoid species similar, but better than humans in appearance, they are taller than humans and their skin color is slightly orange/yellow. they live on a planet that contains a not-so-high quantity of ores and metals in general, but with excess of “Ironwood”, their main resource, and other valuable resources. They use their planet’s exclusive “wood” as a primary resource, so they can mass produce everything they desire. They don’t have an specific leader, the military is also the government and controls the politics, and they lead everything that a leader would normally command. Veteran soldiers and former military soldiers can be part of the politics too, the most powerful politicians are the military commanders and the high ranked Battlemasters. There was a time when cutternians only used the common wood in their weapons, vehicles, and machinery, now they have entered the new generation, they are richer, stronger and more experienced than ever, being able to use metals combined with ironwood in the majority of their machines and weapons. They got metals and extra resources from selling/trading ironwood with strangers and extracting things from other planets, there is still some valuable metals, crystals, emeralds, jewels and other rare minerals on their caves. They have better lungs than humans, being able to breath/survive for more time in water or toxic ambients, they are also able to live and survive on higher temperatures than a common human. They are also extremely efficient in producing biological agents/weapons, their experiments with The Hive components improved their life and efficiency. they currently excel at this, thanks to BIOCELL Factories.

Description: The atmosphere of the planet is very dark and foggy due to the hive’s components, being very hard to be seen from space satelites or cameras but not affecting the plants and vegetation nor the climate/star lighting at all. It’s a normal-sized planet. has diverse biomes and weather, including sandstorms, rain, light acid rain and snowstorms. The terrain is almost a supercontinent and has more earth than ocean. The day and night on this planet is an orange/yellow-ish sky, like it’s always a sunset, the sky becomes more blue during some hours in the morning. Their caves are totally unstable and hard to explore, many hostile creatures live in the deeper parts and it reaches extremely high temperatures.

How They Dress?

The Cutternians use full clothes, they cover all the body, and they also use masks, each mask for each job, rank and sometimes for specific personnel (example: Tezal Satin). these suits are made of steel, ironwood, and cloth. they are not expensive at all. the military has a stronger variant and uses armor. some have classic spring-like decorations.

Their Cities/Villages

They mainly live in an extremely high amount of villages/towns around the planet, while the cities are humongous but are in less quantity compared to towns. Cities are the center of power, military and economy, but towns are still an interesting place to live because in the majority of the time they are located in peaceful locations. Cities are alot more protected due to their strong barriers and security (heavily trained military, defender civilians and anti-bombardment turrets). crime rate in cities are almost null due to the heavy military presence on the cities, the worst that can happen is someone harass you. most of the commerce is located on the cities because of their high amount of people.

Their Vegetation And Biomes

Extremely diverse plants, fruits, vegetables and wildlife lives on Cutternion TP, some of the common biomes are: deserts, forests, grassland, tundra, savannas and a small part of an arctic biome. some plants can grow fruits, some of them can be extremely poisonous, town citizens like to farm some of these vegetables and fruits for trading with others or to feed themselves. the creatures vary with biomes, some adapted to a hot desertic biome, and others adapted to extremely cold arctic environments.

Their Form of Government – ₵

The Cutternians are a Stratocracy, a form of government headed by military chiefs. The branches of government are administered by military forces, the government is legal under the laws of the jurisdiction at issue, and is usually carried out by cutternian military workers. it means the cutternian population is leaded by the entire army, and not only one individual. Cutternian citizens with mandatory or voluntary military service, or veterans who have been honorably discharged have the right to elect or govern. The military’s administrative, judiciary, and/or legislature powers are supported by law, the constitution, and the society. It does not necessarily need to be autocratic or oligarchic by nature in order to preserve its right to rule.

Cutternians like to disguise their tech to look like an outdated and old tech, but this only applies in visual design, the rusty look of their machines intimidate enemies when they realize that they are being destroyed one by one. look below for some of the tech that they excel at:

Communications/Radios
The hive is extremely fast and direct in their communication system, when the cutternians made an alliance with them, the hive shared part of their communication tech, allowing them to also be extremely efficient at radios, communicators, sirens, and every creation made for communications.

they use electric engines and generators in their vehicles, weapons and machines, this is a very efficient way of vehicle mobility option because it takes more time to run out and only needs a bit of fuel to work, some have solar panels that take energy from stars. the hive also excels at electricity production, so they also shared part of it, that is why they use electricity instead of the other options.

Official Cutternian Laws – ₵

The Cutternians have laws that the people must obey, these rules are heavily prioritized by our habitants, they need to follow these even if they are not in the main planet. see some of them:

₵ – Some of the basic laws: no killing, no stealing, no sexual relations with minors, no sexual relations with animals. if you proof that you killed for your own safety you won’t be punished, incest is allowed but not for reproduction purposes. no violence without reason or you will be jailed, that includes harassing and rape.

₵ – All Cutternians must use at least a recognizable amount of ironwood in their clothes and vehicles, including military vehicles and ironwood walkers. it really helps in avoiding intruders.

₵ – Military must use their masks, they are Codified with a voice identifier. This is one of the best ways to avoid spies and intruders because when prompted to play the sample, a spy will have a different voice from the real mask’s owner. immediately executed or jailed.

₵ – All civilians and workers are allowed to participate in the military, the only requirement is 4.5+ years of training/praticing to make sure that they have experience and vitality. After some time in military he is allowed to inject better biological agents on himself if he wants like permanent steroids, if he really give his best he can even be promoted to a commander.

₵ – All kinds of android/cyborg or synthetic lifeform is banned/unauthorised and disabled from Cutternion TP, the cutternians don’t want hacked androids or malfunctions, they use biological experiments to improve their life instead of creating machines that malfunction and break with time. Only robots with special permission of the military can enter, and it must be temporary.

₵ – Ironwood cutters/extractors have to gather a determined amount of ironwood in their cities to keep the resources of the civilization. When they achieve the mark, they will be paid in ₡dL currency. if not, they will earn nothing.

₵ – Civilians can carry firearms, they need to have a certificate of practice of 2+ years. and a document showing that they don’t have mental issues or hostile behaviour.

₵ – Only the military can create and manage industries/factories, if a private company is found it will be immediately taken down and the owners will probably stay in the prison for a long time.

₵ – Civilians don’t have permission to leave the planet, nor to communicate with others, if they are found spying or giving important information to other civilizations, they will be jailed for years depending on the level of spying, they also try to convince cutternian spies to be double agents and offer false information to the civilization that sent them.

Military Behaviour

Cutternians respect and coexist with others until they break one of our laws, like entering our planet without advice. they prioritize their laws, privacy and security over everything. the military opinion about any kind of war crimes is: at the moment the war is declared, all civilians and innocents are considered hostile too, until the war is over. that means they dont follow rules about war crimes.

Citizens/Habitants Behaviour

People from Cutternion TP are not allowed to leave the planet or communicate with other civilizations, only the ones with special permission, for the security and privacy of the planet. they treat temporary visitors with the same respect that they would treat everyone else. they work, train, form families, build stores and houses, etc.

Their Economy and Currency – ₡

Searching for more stability and profit, The Cutternians developed/created a new type of economy called “Independent-Adaptive Economy”, where the “Extractor” jobs collect and provides the resources to the government/military. this economy system doesn’t have taxes for nothing, each citizen is economically independent, the only “tax” they are going to pay is the electricity for his house/building. all of the rest the citizen buys by himself, like food, supplies and furniture. the government is extremely rich, and can produce how much money they want, as long as they give the wage for each worker, extractor and military personnel. inflation is non-existent because each citizen sells or buys things at the price of their choice. the government also sells weapons and equipment for the defense of the citizens, but to have weapons they need a certificate proving that they are allowed to carry and use a weapon. the price is adaptive to the common sell/buy prices of the city. note that private companies, factories and corporations are prohibited. only small markets and shops are allowed for the security and privacy of the planet.

“Extractor” Job Category

One of the vital job categories for the functioning of their adaptive economy, they are sent to gather resources from other planets or from Cutternion TP and then deliver to the government/military, where they split the resources to produce machinery, money, buildings/structures, weapons, etc. the wage of every job is similar, but the most well paid ones are from military because of the higher risk. The extractors main objective is to collect resources like stone, ores, metals, jewels and trees. they are also divided in different kinds of job, see some examples: Merchants/Travellers, Explorers, Miners, Lumberjacks, Pilots, Alchemists, etc.

Their Currency

They also have their own currency, used to purchase almost everything around the planet and for negotiations with other planets occasionally.

Other Currencies – Resources like wood, iron, steel, copper, platinum and ironwood can also be traded or used as currency if both of the traders know what they will spend, the government uses resources as an universal currency when trading with other civilizations.

About Colonies/Other Planets – ₵

They portrait colonizing other planets as “splitting the main target into smaller ones”, they only extract all they can from the planet and transfer to their main home, Cutternion TP. they send travellers and authorised civilians to explore, trade and help other civilizations. when it’s time to extract resources from other planets they send miners, alchemists and explorers in recently discovered planets with resources. any cutternian villages or small cities in other planets are made exclusively by travellers or civilians, they can build cities on these planets, but are not allowed to form a major colony of any sort.

About Ironwood – ₵

The Planet Cutternion TP has a very different predominant type of wood, it’s called “Ironwood” by the population, this wood is so strong that some of them can have the same efficiency as steel and iron. the main reason the Cutternians use their planet’s ironwood is: they are highly resistant/durable, most of them are fireproof and they are able to mass produce armor, weapons and vehicles, and arguably they are never going to run out of ironwood since it can be planted. the cutternians have an estimated number of 7.12 trillion ironwood trees in their planet, they harvest about 1,20 trillion trees per year and the growth is estimated to be 1,16 trillion per year. when they have too many trees in their planet, they will harvest at a faster rate and sell to other civilizations more often for a lower price (temporary discounts), balancing the currency. When they gather this ironwood, they also do an extra step, they strap a bulletproof metal armor in front of it for even more protection, simple technique that has proven to be very effective. they also made their own satelites, these are multi-purpose: communications, solar panel to extract energy from stars, defense guns and monitoring the planet all in one satelite, they have more than 50 all over the planet.

The Origin of Ironwood

The origin of this hard to explain wood happened a long time ago when the cutternians didn’t even existed, the trees were still developing themselves, the planet was a magma ball in space, and liquid metals were colliding with the plants that managed to develop in biomes with no lava, including the plants that would become trees later on, the rest of the story only time itself knows.

The Hive’s History – ₵

Cutternion TP has developed a rare and dangerous alien infection/species, called The Hive.

₵ – The Hive

The Hive is an alien species that came from an unknown anomaly in Cutternion TP. they are monsters controlled by “commanders” called hive masterminds, they produce an unknown toxin that the cutternians seems to be immune to. it will spread until it “pollutes” the entire planet. they seem to grow and evolve bigger, stronger and dangerous with time. they also seem to be extremely intelligent, and they are able to understand almost all existing languages. the cutternians recently made an “agreement” with them, the hive “controls” the communications, they translate other languages to the cutternians, and they also gave a small part of their tech to the cutternians as a sign of trust. it is estimated that the hive was originated in Cutternion TP, they have tried to transfer to other planets in the past but their civilizations or planet conditions were too dangerous for them to develop. so they stayed in Cutternion TP.

₵ – The Cure?

the hive was taking over Cutternion TP, killing plants, vegetation and poisoning the planet with their gas, expanding nonstop, the cutternian alchemists and scientists managed to do something to stop the hive from spreading, the K-Hive Essence. the K-Hive is made mainly of liquid gold, phospor, molten iron and (????). they are put into a flask for easier carrying, throwing a flask in a hive poisoned area makes them “burn”, it will revert a part of the infected object or vegetation, regrowing to his normal state after some time, before the vegetation cures completely, it will be temporarily “scorched”.

₵ – The “Alliance”

When the Cutternians completely purged their infection from the planet, the hive hide in caves to develop better and evolve without danger, years have passed and the cutternians found out that they were alive and evolving, they wanted to somehow co-exist with the hive for their own benefit (strong allies, tech), so they sent experienced alchemists to try to communicate with the hive. at the start they were very aggresive towards the alchemists, later they started to be neutral, ignoring their presence but still observing sometimes. when the alchemists tried to speak with them, they understood but didn’t trusted the alchemists yet, they explained more and the hive became neutral towards the cutternians. after some time the alchemists tried to help the hive and defend their territories, the hive seems to have liked the “gift”. after a long time they made an alliance, scientists and alchemists were interested in the hive components and began doing experiments, they discovered that the hive’s components can mutate living beings, they started to experiment in cutternians, the results were incredible. this was the start of the Cutternian Biological Weapons. a long time later the cutternians gave hive a small part of the planet for the hive. currently the hive lives together with cutternians in a symbiotic way.

How They Act?
They are exclusively neutral to cutternians, and hostile to all other races, their appearance is intimidating, each one produces extreme amounts of electricity, they have an top rank communications tech, they gave a part of it to Cutternians.

The Cutternian Experienced Alchemists and Scientists tried to experiment with the hive’s biological components on cutternians, they got interesting discoveries, resulting in positive mutations/changes on the unit’s body or organism via parasitic or virus infection. They have an industry only for that purpose, they serve exclusively to the military. Founded in 3014 by the military.

The soldier’s arms get replaced by sharp claws, if he consumes this component without one of his arms, a new claw arm will grow. in rare cases it can grow replacing both arms

The soldier’s arms get replaced by bigger and stronger claws, if he uses this without the arms, new hive arms will grow. it tends to grow in only one arm.

₵ – hive-β – Semi-Parasitic Infection + Virus
The soldier’s body becomes stronger and more resistant against melee, electricity and bullets. It was invented and discovered by The BIOCELL Founder Physekter Firiat. It is confirmed that this infection becomes more effective when the host has aggressive traits.

Black hive spikes starts growing in the entire soldier’s body, and he becomes incredibly strong and extremely resistant for a humanoid, the soldier’s size grows and he becomes extremely aggressive.

No signs of mutations outside the body, the host seems to be only a bit more resistant, the tests showed that they can live up to 2 times more than a common cutternian. With the success of this biological agent, civilians and soldiers will be allowed by the government/military to inject this permanently in their bodies for a better life. they also develop high a resistance against diseases.

Counter-Espionage – ₵

To avoid any kind of espionage/spies, they take many strong measures, for example:

-Only authorised civilians are allowed to leave the planet or communicate with other civilizations, if they show any suspect activity the will be sent to the jail.

-All military soldiers need to use their helmet/masks in public environments, or when a higher ranked commander is near, these masks are have an integrated voice sample of the owner, this can only be used one time for each mask, this helps to find spies when they try to impersonate/disguise as someone they aren’t.

-Other civilizations or species are not allowed to enter our planet, only with special permission of the military, and these permissions are temporary, tourists are not allowed, only for negotiations/politics.

-The military uses an advanced tech made with assistance of the hive to find and track unauthorised devices, for example: radios or communication devices from other species. it doesn’t matter how small and well hidden they are, nor what they are made of, the scaning devices detects all kinds of suspect or uncommon sound waves.

-If they discover a cutternian spy working for another civilization, before any kind of violence against him we will offer a temporary alliance and payment if he accepts to be a double-agent and tell fake informations about us for our target.

-When they find who is trying to spy, they lose all the respect that they had with the identified civilization, then they begin the threatenings and attacks until they surrender.

They always analyze their enemies heavily in search for weak points, in what they are not experienced, and then they try to capitalize on these things, this really works if they sucessfully do this, it allows them to produce more of the specific unit that counters it.
