Introduction
The Battle of Rakata Prime. 3956 BBY, Star forge, The Lehon system
Here you are. You have fought your way through the star forge and decided Bastila’s fate. Now it’s time to face your former apprentice again for one last fight.
” You made a mistake coming here, Revan. The Star Forge Fuels my command of the Dark Side. You are no match for me here, And this time you will not escape!” -Darth Malak
Requirements
For This Strategy, You will need a few things.
First off, You need to have a lightsaber equipped as your weapon, for this fight, I am dual wielding lightsabers. If you are using another type of melee weapon, or a ranged weapon, this guide will not help you. This strategy will work with any Jedi class.
You will also need the Force Powers Knight Speed and Throw Lightsaber. Drain Life is not needed, but I highly recommend having it. It will make the fight easier.
You should also have some advanced medipacks, just in case you don’t have enough force to cast Heal, A decent shield and the Force Heal power available as well. This is a final boss, after all.
*This strategy implements Force Heal, which is much more effective when cast by a Light side Character.
*This playthrough was used with a Light Side Character so I did not consider offensive Force powers such as Force Lightning, if you are using a Dark Side based character, consider implementing the Dark Side effective powers.
The Strategy
You will be spending more time running away from Malak, then attacking him.
Around the stage, you will see Jedi bodies in large tubes (shown in the screenshot below). Make destroying these tubes your first priority. Malak will use these to heal himself after taking damage if they are not destroyed.
Tip: You can use the power Force Drain to recover health from the jedi)
Full-on attacks don’t inflict much damage to Malak as he will block most of your attacks and will usually counter with his Force Lightning, which can deal serious damage. Even if you don’t attack him directly he will still use this, just not as often, So be careful.
Use Knight Speed to boost your movement speed and keep your distance from Malak. Use Force Heal when needed. When you have a fair distance between you and Malak, Throw your Lightsaber at him. Repeat this step until you beat him.
Tip:Use Advanced medipacks instead of Force Heal if you want to conserve your force points, or are running low on them
