Overview
What this guide currently contains is a breakdown of the places (and shortcut keys) that exist in the game along with some of the Easter Eggs and Special items that can be used later in the campaign.
Introduction
This guide is by no means complete. When I wrote this originally there were other Guides available on steam, So I didn’t put as much effort in as I should of :/
Keyboard Shortcuts
If you purchase an Airport Guide in game you get the list of the keyboard shortcuts, however these shortcuts work even without the Airport Guide being purchased.
Getting around
The first important area is the Business Area (v).
(Left) Hangar 51 (h) where you make and configure new planes. The door on the back wall heads to Scrap and Old Planes (g) and the container for Cargo Center (9)
(Right) Scrap and Old Planes (g) as it suggests you can buy second hand planes or even sell the ones you have.
(Left) Cargo Center (9) is for handling Cargo Contracts (Might require a DLC?)
(Not Pictured)Your Office (b) grants you access to Flight planning (m), Ending the Day (e) and Stock Trading.
(Not Pictured)The Elevator will take you to the Terminal (n)
(Left)The Security Guard near the Elevator can grant you access to Eyes and Ears Security (e) where you can pay a premium to keep your airplanes safe from espionage.
(Right)Sig. Marco Usceroni Manager (u) is where Renting new flight paths through the Route Planner (r) or opening new hubs is done.
(Left)Image Pro-Marketing (i) is for both advertising and undermining the competitors through rumours, as well as limiting damage done by competitors rumours about your airline.
(Right) Ultimate Color Design (q) has the Maestro who paints your planes outside,
(Left) you can also access, Lovely Interiors (j) through here which has two sets of interior upgrades for your planes (as well as colouring them).
(Right) The Personnel Office (p) is where you hire and fire staff as well as assign them to the planes, you can also adjust their overall wages. (A slight wage increase can increase staff efficiency)
The next important area is the Terminal (n) itself. You can access a number of places by walking about:
(Right) Take off Bar and Bistro (c) is located to the extreme left, here you can upgrade (or downgrade) what meals are available on your flight.
(Left) Shoppers Paradise Milestone (f) is the Duty Free shop which sells some unique items, some of which can be used to trigger changes with specific characters.
(Right) Rosenberg Cash and Gold Loans (k) is the bank where you can create new loans, payoff loans (in part or whole) or buy/sell stock.
(Left) Skytrips International travel (t) is for picking up Contract flights, while Lastminute (8) has contracts that need to be completed that day.
(Right) The Homeless guy appears to do nothing useful (neither does the toilets, which sometimes the tannoy says have been “Closed due to flooding“)
The Elevator takes you back to the Business Area (v)
It is possible to travel to the Lounge (l) (behind the security checkpoints) where a visitor Telescope gives you access to a Leaderboard that looks like the faces carved into Mount Rushmore.
The last available area in the Terminal is near the Extreme right, Christians Flower shop (x) which is actually a hidden entrance and codename for the Saboteur where you can cause mayhem to your competitors.
Items and Easter eggs
During the game you will find there are a number of items you can buy and pickup. These items have uses with various characters that you meet, they can give you better Sabotage or Advertising options.
The current ones that appear both in the German guide on steam and the Kalypso forums are:
The Bomb in the Litter bin (Use with Saboteur) and the Camera (Use with the Eyes and Ears Security Guy, not the one guarding the Elevator) Both of those items are in the image.
The Mirror, flowers and the Botox Injection from the Shoppers Paradise milestone.
Use the botox with the woman in the Imagecorp Pro-Marketing Office and the Mirror with Eyes and Ears Security Guy (It’s said you can give the flowers to the Saboteur, but I haven’t tested that yet)
The Violin case from the Managers office can be used with the Saboteur.
Easteregg?
You can also mess with the fire alarm above Usceroni’s head but it doesn’t appear to do anything than smoke.
