Overview
This was a suggestion so I decided to make it a reality! I thought this would be helpful for anyone who wants to get tips and recommendations for posting building on the workshop or for personal use!
The Whole Thing (Didn’t want to make this several chapters)
The first thing I would start with is imagining the design and what it would be. I advise keeping clear of things that haven’t been made much or things that haven’t had much improvement. (For anyone posting to the workshop ->) Think about how players will interact with the build and play with it. Will it be destructible or will it be rigid? Etc. Also make sure that whatever you’re making is well thought out and easy for other players to use.
Second thing is when starting to build make sure to not make your builds too cluttered or it will cause lag. you have to keep in mind that not everyone has a great computer so you have to make compromises in order to have your build be enjoyable but at the same time you should have some detail. If you’re posting things on the workshop, I recommend testing your build to make sure nothing is frozen and or flimsy.
(IF POSTING ON THE WORKSHOP) The last thing that I recommend is that you make an interesting thumbnail that will catch the subscriber’s eye. And also add a nice description to top it off!
This was my first guide so yeah! I hope this helps and if you got this far then post comment “potato” on my comments section! 🙂
